Any tips to play Talon?

Hi guys,

I'm here to ask you if you've some tips to be succesfull as Talon. I'm facing an issue which I can't find any way out. I believe Talon has a strong lvl2 but his level 3 puts him behind until lvl6 because his E does not do any damage at all.

Most of the time I try get firstblood au lvl2 because of that but it costs me a lot usually flash and ignite for the sole reason that when I poke, I do push that lane and I've to dive early to finish the target. If I don't kill the target, my lane gets frozen for some time on the side of the opponent because I've trouble reseting the lane - losing some cs at the same time because obviously because csing with aa under enemy turret is kinda ballzy.

So here's my question? How do you guys manage your laning phase to dominate the lane?

Can I eventually win trades post lvl3 even if I've a skill that deals 0 damage?

Thanks,

Well what I do is try to get first blood level 2 if possible, but within reason. NEVER try to 'force' it if it's not almost guaranteed. It's better to just not have the kill than risk losing both your summs and getting super behind that way.

If you fail to get a kill level 2 it still is possible to poke them down and kill them levels 3-6 and kill them before or right when you get ult.

If you're level 6 and they won't give you an opportunity to kill them, then still don't force it. This is when you look to roam top/bot, whichever is more gankable. If neither of them are and your laner is still being a pussy bitch and you have decent CS, if the enemy has a squishy jungler you can try to catch them out in their own jungle if possible.

If all of this fails, then farm up and look for opportunities later on and just farm and try not to fall behind. The squishies on the enemy team will ALWAYS give you opportunities to kill them, so try not to let them slip up.

Good luck ^-^

Yeah I've been playing less aggressive and it looks better. I'm just poking and wait them to be low enough to finish them safely.

Also a good way to get more positive attention is to ask on the Talon Main Subreddit, full of lovely people who can give alternate playstyles/opinions
