So i'm an adc and support player, meaning the bot lane is basically my home. However, bot lane is a two player lane, meaning cooperation with another player in order to beat two other players. Being both the damage dealer and the damage protector helps a lot.

Communication is key to a bot lane. If you're like me and have friends that don't play bot lane (Or don't have any friends at all), thaen you're stuck with some random dude you've never met before. Then you have to communicate with them through typing.

What annoys me sometimes is the way people talk to their parter down bot lane. Some people can just be total jerks when it comes to things. i'm sure you've probably seen all those memes about supports being criticized to ward and to protect and to blah blah blah, and its true. But also adc's sometimes face some mean words too, more than you may think.

Here are some examples of words I've heard flung in bot lane.

"Why aren't you aggressive as i am?" "Why aren't you warding?" "You've missed like., all of your skillshots" "You cant even last hit." "We lost that fight because of you" "gg surrender at 20" "Just heal me please" "Why do you keep going in?" "Feeder."

Those can go both ways to an ADC or Support. Now, i suck at league, but I'm also kind of good. However, believe me that i get those comments a lot of the time. Now, i sold my soul for Firecracker Jinx a long time ago, so i don't feel pain, but to others, it may hurt them just a tiny bit.

Heres an idea: be more nice!

Not everyones perfect, not everyones good, and everyone makes mistakes. Just realize that they could just be having a bad game. that's all. Also, staying positive can really be helpful, as it can cheer up you, your bot lane partner, and your entire team.

For example, if you screw up, and your ADC/Support starts to get mad at you, instead of getting mad back you could say:

"Sorry, that was my bad, ill try better next time" "I know, i know, its ok, we can still come back." "I just need to ____________, and we should be fine." "I can fix this mistake" Or say nothing at all, sometimes that works.

Or another example, if your teammate screws up, instead of getting angry at them you could say:

"its ok, we're fine." "Hey, calm down, we can still come back" "Just try and ___________ and we can live." "No worries, no worries, I got you covered." Or don't say nothing at all.

Now, to all the people who are thinking: But what if we cant come back from this, because most of these comments seem to be more towards if you're even or up.

Well, first off, stay positive, even in the darkest situations. if you're the only positive light on your team, then be it.

AND Second, encourage them so that they feel like they have a chance.

This isn't really a rant, i just wanted to address the fact that mean words can ruin games, and sometimes people.

And that's not just for bot lane too. We all know junglers and solo laners and get into the same fights if a gank goes wrong. I just wrote for ADC/Support because that's who i relate too.

I'm not expecting you to say an amazing speech to your team when youre 0 - 15 and have all your inhibitor turrets down, that causes your team to come back and win the game, I'm just saying that a little kindness can go a long way.

That's all.

Until next time,
