First Impression: Zed

So I obtained Zed today. I've had an interest in playing him for quiet some time and today I've played a total of 8 matches with him. 2 in team builder (Which don't show up on my match history for some reason) And 6 in normal blinds. So the very first thing I noticed is I hate him in mid lane. Literally just despise him in the mid lane. Why? I don't know. All I know is I prefer him top lane. Secondly I've noticed a lot of Zed building blade of the ruined king first, but after doing this twice in a row and having lack luster damage, I stopped that, got a Brutalizer, then rushed a Hydra's. (Oh and I've always bought Ninja Tabi first item.)

My wins in normal blinds with him are Four wins to Two losses. Most of the matches I've played as well I've gone positive (20/3 8/0) or I've fallen so far behind that I can't burst the enemy assassin before they can get to my adc. Overall I think he's fun to play and all, but taking him mid to me just feels wrong. Anyone else like this or is it just me?

Oh and before I forget, does talon counter zed? Cause both times I've fought a talon I've lost horrible to him.

It feels wrong to play him Mid because he's melee, it's a feeling you have to get used too I think, he's difficult to play top. I tend to go fairly even on Zed - Talon matchups, but if you're behind, then you should roam.

If you're planning on playing him a lot, watch the Zed school by Azoh on youtube, he shows you some really interesting stuff on there. I'd offer to show you some stuff, but you're on NA ;).
