Please stop fucking bringing teleport because you want to get back to lane without losing any farm. Push the wave out, then return. Unless there's a huge minion wave and you're gonna miss farm, use teleport to set up ganks or save laners. That is all.

EndlessSorcerer2 votesIf you want your top laner to teleport gank for you bottom lane, drop a ward somewhere behind your enemies. If you don't, they can typically walk away before the teleport completes with ease.
Also, don't expect a TP gank against Caitlyn. It's just depressing to teleport into a trap and lose your advantage top-lane without getting anything for it.

Sohleks1 votesWell ideally his lane opponent is gonna stop him from pushing the lane and recalling easily. But ideally that's what you wanna be doing yeah.
On the other side though teleporting to gank or fight is really a big decision and it's often a hard call. TBH as a top laner TP gank is definitely not an every game thing; teleporting to throw the game in a suspect fight is pretty unattractive when I know I can dumpster my top lane opponent. I do play some very farm dependent champions top tho and not just the usual tanky herpa derps.

Sometimes I'll roam mid or bot try to get something on the rest of the map and then TP back to lane. Sometimes if I know the enemy top laner just used it to get back to lane, I'll do the same if he pushes hard. If I'm built to split push and set up to win that 1v1 I will almost always just focus that 1v1 and try to make that top Laners life awful. There are scenarios where it's good to just focus top lane as a top laner.
I do always enjoy tping to get a double kill though :)
