Can we remove the passive from Warwick's W.

In his current state, he's oppressive to play against. Having him as an enemy jungler pretty much makes it a 2v1 and 3v2 for all of lane phase. Quinn was gutted as a jungler because of how much mobility and damage she had, yet WW remains untouched. He is allowed Quinn-like speed at level 3, while being able to tower dive. Currently he is sitting at a 54.5% win rate with it being at least 52% most of the time ever since Jan 2017. Without his W passive, he's still a viable jungler from activating his W active and it forces WW players to pay attention to all lanes instead of mindlessly farming jungle until a scent pops up.

The difference between Quinn and Warwick is the big symbol you get over your head and the ominous music change.

Because a big symbol gives you a lot of counterplay when he can turret dive you before your recall even finish amirite?

Maybe don’t stick around with low health when you know the big wolf man is going to come kill you?

Kinda the whole point of the warning

i'd rather it be returned to a toggle effect for stealth reasons and less annoyance for the ww if he's just farming

That is literally the worst nerf suggestion for Warwick I ever read. You want to remove an iconic part of his kit here.

No, there are other balancing levers to bring Warwick in line if needed.

You are probably a new player. The iconic part of his kit was his suppress ult and him being able to sustain in jungle from before re-work.

I am not a new player and just because his healing and ult are iconic, too, doesn't mean that his bloodscent isn't as well.

I was not talking about his pre rework state, btw, the old bloodscent was pretty boring. But after his rework, it became a really prominent and iconic part of his kit and I will do everything I can to prevent its removal.

He is beyond oppressive. To balance him either his sustain gets nerfed, his fear gets nerfed or his mobility gets nerfed. It makes no sense to nerf his tankiness or sustain when he's a melee.

Then attack him. He loses the bonuses if he gets hit. His gank patterns are basically "run directly at them" Literally hit him and walk away.

Fun fact, if you play an melee champion like darius, your attack will land too late. Another fun fact, any competent WW player can side step skill shots.

Fun fact: If you let yourself get low with a WW jungle in game and then hang out until he ganks and kills you, you are in fact absolute shit.

Also a fun fact: Darius' E is insanely strong as a counter gank tool. Grab WW with it when he gets in range and then watch as the combination chest-bump knock back, literal stun, and large slow all leave him floundering and unable to fear or Q you.

Champions, even junglers, are supposed to have specific strengths. Warwicks is his ability to pursue and murder wounded targets, as well as reliably win low health (on both sides) fights / duels.

Fun fact WW doesn't need to gank you to put behind. He zones you off with his passive.

Also a fun fact, grabbing him with an E on Darius is giving him a free gap close on his Fear.

Don't give me the bullcrap of how "Champions, even junglers, are supposed to have specific strengths." Shaco was meant to be a strong early game jungler with cheesy level 2 ganks but he Riot gutted him. Kassadin was supposed to be the anti-mage champion but Riot gutted him. Nidalee was supposed to be the sniper, but nope more gutting.

This community has a weird obsession for defending WW despite him being balantly overpowered.

Fun fact: No jungler needs to gank you to put you behind. A big part of a jungler's power is their presence and not knowing where they are. Anyone can gank you when you're wounded; WW just has the courtesy to give you a gigantic flashing reminder, and then run straight at you with tons of counter play.

Also fun fact: WW can't re-active his E while CC'd, so you can grab him and walk away. Alternatively you can walk away, W him when he fears and gets on you, walk past him, and then E for the easy disengage. You have tools the same as he does; use them.

Lastly, specific strengths does not mean blatantly unstoppable.

Shaco was supposed to be slippery as all shit and able to heavily out play his enemies / play mind games so he could dominate the early game. He was 'gutted' because everyone skipped the mind-games and slipperiness for one button deletes from stealth, which are not healthy.

Kassassin still is an anti mage champion. However his old incarnation was unkillable past 6 due to his mobility, and simply possessed way too much damage for his mobility. While not in a great spot right now, he's also not the weakest out there.

Nidalee was actually designed as a bruiser. She was supposed to poke from range and retreat through brushes, wearing her enemies down, before going in for the kill with her cat form. She ended up being played as a champion capable of one shotting squishies with invisible skillshots from the fog of war while simultaneously outhealing soraka and being totally uncatchable. I don't think I need to highlight why this was a problem.

Warwick is an early game champion who excels at stomping shitty players. He runs rampant in the NA lower leagues because NA players - in general - do not tend to respect junglers or their power. He falls off noticeably in higher skill brackets, even more so in other regions.

That's why he has a 54.5% win rate in plat+ right? Because he falls off in higher skill brackets.
