Does everyone honestly never have games where someone besides the adc take the lead?

It's been 6 games since I can honestly say the adc was the only champ that mattered and after that it's still sparse. And I'm including the enemy team. There's a game here and there where the enemy team stat checked us to death with kai or we just had someone that was feeding anyone in sight, but overall it's anyone's game.

Sure there are games when other lanes take the lead, but that are cases where the other laner is just way higher in term of skill then the others in the game. When there is an equal match the marksmen will decide who wins.

The best games ive had/enjoyed in league this meta is when both bot lanes(enemy and ally) are useless. Ones when my bot is winning i just have to babysit and we win(and not feel like i am doing much in the process), games where my bot lane is losing i still babysit but i have to hope the enemy bot throws/our bot is good enough to come back from behind.

Yeah tbh i agree with that. Certain champs can be a pain but it's never just the adc. :b

I don't think the concern of the community is that they ALWAYS get fed, it's just when they DO get fed (which tends to be most games for one team of the other and really only takes a couple of kills) they snowball out of control. They're like ranged assassins except they keep going instead of just having burst because their damage is mainly through auto attacks. Added to this they all have cc/escape available to them, normally have aoe and lifesteal, and scale very well.

It's not so much that adc's are always the reason for games being lost, its that as everything else is getting nerfs, they just keep getting stronger. Only assassins can really contend with a fed adc, which seems to be why riot is spending some much time buffing them, but then the assins are roaming bot to kill the adc's which leads to.... a fed adc for the assassins team.

Hope that makes sense to you :)

well...I'm not dumb so, yes, anecdotal evidence makes sense to me.

Sorry, didn't mean it to come across like that.

Today I played 3 ranked games, my promo to Gold lll:

In the first one I won without a clear carry but I would say that the Camille was the strongest on my team and in the enemy they had a feed 18/8/11 Cho Gath (I was MF)

Second I lost a game where the enemy Fizz ended 25-3 and carried alone. (I was MF)

Third game I won thanks to the Fizz 13-3 and the Yi besides don't having a good score. (I was Cait)

You can check the full details on my OP GG, this are games as I said from my promo to Gold lll on EUWest.

Once my friends (newbie) brother was asking what champion he should main. 'What champion does the most damage per auto?' 'Why, that's Jhin' 'Ok, I should play Jhin'

I feel like a huge chunk of the upset about adcs is... one dimensional, just like that.

The adc doesn't always take the lead, but the adc is always the focus of the game anyway. If a bruiser or assassin gets a lead their only function is how quickly they can kill the enemy adc. If the support or some junglers get a lead its all about how well they can protect the adc. It doesn't matter if they are ahead or behind, they are the center of attention ... almost always.

the game HAS to have some sort of focus... killing the person who deals the most damage or rails objs is always gonna be the point

The follow up question is why is that person always the ADC, no matter how behind they get? Asking if ADCs get ahead every game the way you posited in the OP misses the point of the complaints about ADC. It isn't about the ADC getting fed every game or not, its the fact that they are always the focus of the game, even when they are behind.

I’ve had quite of bit of top laners 1 v 9 recently. Tyrn , Yasuo and Jax for example.

I had a game as Karthus, my lane opponent was a leblanc. I was 8/3/4 by 15 minutes where they all decided to surrender. I would however like to point out that it was a mirror match at bot with luxes and jhins and well... Our Lux got first blood.

All I had to do at that point is... Press R every time they decided to fight so they win every time even if their jungler comes or the enemy got away with a sliver of health.

By the time they surrender the enemy jhin was 0/6/0 and the people who got kills on their team were leblanc and their lux. Oh right, just to emphasize the how bad the enemy team was doing. We had a 10,000 gold lead and 4 towers and a cloud drake, they got no objectives.

In my opinion whatever team gets first blood and first tower win the game, with maybe a rift herald. Because the minute you get the lead you can pretty much do anything you want besides be an idiot. It probably doesn't help that ADC and support items are dirt cheap.
