URF where the hell is URF riot you made a whole annual tournament on this mode it's the one truly great thing i have come to expect from you all year i don't care about your rotation mode and no it is not and will never be Draven Day hell no this was URF day the greatest event riot could ever think of and you think you can just replace it with that self centered bastard Draven the one and only jackass we can tolerate in league?!

URF is like Christmas to me it's the only weak in the year that really shows the fun side of this community and now you look too take that away why.

are you riot so lazy that you think throwing a bunch of skins and pasting one face on every champion is going to replace the best weak of the year?! if no then why?

because it is going to come in the rotation mode that we are probably never going to see?! the weak of URF was the only time in witch i knew even if there where trolls and assholes in my game i would have fun. now in this "Draven Day" thing the only people who will truly have fun are the trolls of this toxic ass community why?!

riot if anybody from your pay roll or just people who have worked/are working with riot and are reading this please respond

i loved URF it was the best thing we had in this game we oh so proudly called the League of Legends no matter how toxic the community was seen as we the player took it all right in the face to defend this game that we loved that has seance gone down hill and doesn't look to be coming back.

And for those who think riot did good on this remember this:

A joke is only funny until you get tired of it.

URF is not a joke URF is truly a fun game.

Rotating queue will join Classic and ARAM in an upcoming patch, but part of why we’re announcing it now is because two years in a row, we delivered the Ultra Rapid Fire game mode in increasingly absurd ways. While we’re pretty sure you aren’t going to believe us anyway, we’re telling you right now that URF will not return on the first of April. We’re not quite ready to announce the full slate of game modes that’ll feature in the new Rotating queue, but we are ready to share that Ultra Rapid Fire will appear at least twice in 2016.

and you think im going to trust riot to actualy bring this rotation mode in they really havent had the best track record as of late plus your willing to give up a weak (7 days) of the best fun in league "the weak of URF was the only time in witch i knew even if there where trolls and assholes in my game i would have fun" for 4 day this year witch would add up to 6 days the next year (yes i read that i wouldn't have mentioned it other wise.)?!

Its on the PBE and they are testing two game modes already: Poro King and Ascension.

Amazing, they are putting Poro King back which was already here during Christmas time with just another name. And Ascension which from what the community thought overall was the crappiest fancy gamemode.

I just want Brawlers, Doombots, All for one, and URF. The rest suck. I loved Brawlers ages back, such a small change made a huge difference to SR.

No shit sherlock. The point I was trying to make is those are the two gamemodes that are supposedly coming first. I just mentioned that one was literally already out a few months ago, the other was lackluster from what I have read since I never did Ascension myself.

It isn't rocket science that if someone doesn't like something, they don't play it. People might like those two and good for them. Although on a technical view it is kinda lazy they wanna do Poro King again when it already happened so recently.

Doing Poro King first makes sense from a testing standpoint; they know it was stable and worked not long ago, so it probably would need the least work to make sure it works again, and lets them iron out any other problems that might come up from the rotating queue in general on a large scale.

I've actually heard generally positive things about Ascension, but people are always gonna have different opinions about modes, and usually the negative ones are louder.

Sometimes overdoing what you always wanted IS the thing why it gets boring. Mostly is usually the:

  • after playing a few champions of your main in URF, you will feel bored right away after a few games.
  • the never ending URF's fotm Fizz where he's removed from the game about 99% of the time, Vladimir who can sink as much as he wants whilst sustain with his Q, and Urgot while I appreciate him being good, but landing one E and then accompanied with QQQQQQQQQQ gets the fun right out real fast.
  • champions who were banned off from URF 2014 are still playable, so you wouldn't be the one having fun when going against those guys.

All I mean is that URF may be fun for like, 3 games. After that, you just can't really handle it anymore. I rather see Ascension back on again after its one year of absence than URF.

I can say it with 200% confidence. If it makes you feel any better though, theres been exactly two game modes I've actually enjoyed after the initial rush

Doom Bots and Black Market Brawlers.

Ascension became an assassin and fighter free for all. Nemesis became 'pick the worst possible comp'. Hexakill wasn't anything special. One for all just never appealed to me. And Poro King became "Who has more poke?" And of course, URF. Lets just have everyone grab the same 7 champions with incredibly spammy spells.

I love URF and want it to come back as much as most of the community but I can see how it can be boring to some. Mainly because most of the community just finds the champions that are so broken in that mode or just plain crazy and a tier list basically gets made and that is literally the only champions you see in URF, generally it's the champions that were so broken that Riot even banned them, examples being Hecarim Evelynn Skarner or anyone else with that 1 spamable ability that goes down to under 1 second like them.

I love URF for the champions that can be played creatively and it's amazing when you play and run into some champions where you never think that they would be good. I think the people who consider it boring is because most of the games you play against the same champions, where out of the 130 champions you might only see like...20-30 ever played and that is being generous.

Though I am with you on wanting URF back..especially after playing a game of this Draven thing...That gets boring after 1 game quick...

I mostly played urf bots because in pvp i would try silly things and have to play against the top 10 every single game (was also almost always outnumbered in my lane so i can only assume people were looking up the match for some absurd reason and seeing i was diamond but thats beside the point).

Urf coming back again and again just encourages more of this because the magic is gone and the joy just dies a slow death.

Urf nemesis draft (maybe with half the roster randomly banned in a given match and then 6 more bans) might be amazing though.

How can i appreciate a two-minute hack job. Here is literally all they had to do: take entity-hitbox-head_draven; size 200%; save entity-draven_draven; teak entity-hitbox-head_all; save entity-non_draven; replace non_draven with draven_draven.

Personally I don't like the Draven heads because I find they get in the way of the game.

It was mildly entertaining for 3 minutes, but when people start grouping up it makes matters quite confusing as every champ looks too alike.

Personally, I'm not too upset about the mode. I'm more upset that the only sign of Urf himself this year is a 750 RP skin on TahmKench. This is supposed to be the day for Urf, the original League April fools joke. Not "buy the draven draven $kin" day.

It was literally told to us it wouldn't come on April 1st, and it was never planned as annual, we made it out to be annual. Be thankful for what you got, literally the majority of the world barely has enough food.
