Holy fuck, she has a 44% winrate and I can see why, she's complete garbage.

Good god, her W has to be bugged to hell and back, that or it's the clunkiest ability in the game. For fuck sake most of the time it wouldn't let me use it on champions that were obviously in range, and if I tried to use it on someone out of range most of the time it would be like "oh your trying to hit a champion that's out of range, I'd better stop moving" like WTF.

Her E is a toxic ability and annoying as fuck, that's honestly the only thing she has going for her as a champion.

Her ultimate is the single most worthless ability in the game. The first time I used it, it went on cooldown, nothing else, that's all that happened. Using it the 3rd time I realized, oh they didn't stand completely still, so it doesn't do anything, and the 1 time I used it successfully, it seemed completely overpowered. It's one of those abilities that can't be good or it's completely insane. Who would design an ult like this?

The game was melee vs ranged so I fully expected to lose, but god damn I feel like I lost to my own champion, like I got defeated by the champion I was playing.

I am never playing this fucking champion again, If I get her in all for one again I'll dodge, It's not worth it. After playing her, I might just dodge every time a team mate picks her in ranked.

Ive literally 1v4ed people with illaoi before... Shes meant to be an offtank who gets into fights and uses her ult which if you hit multiple people, you can literally instant kill entire teams with her

her Q has leagues best AD scaling out of any ability in the game, and all of her tentacles including her ulted ones get this damage

You can ult the spirits you pull with her E to trigger the ult

Your problem is you mechanically dont understand how she is played, shes not an all in style champ, shes more of a chill back, farm while you can, if an enemy or 2 gets too close, jump on them and obliterate them

Her kit is very strong in the hands of someone who understands her mechanics.

a big reason why her winrate is so low is alot of bad people pick her, not because she is a bad champ

Weak, and yet total cancer to play against. Illaoi was a mistake, and already needs a rework.

I just played a One For All against her with Amumu, went 18-2-30. To be fair though Amumu is straight OP in One For All. A lot of my allies died way too much to her stacked ults though as instead of going in unloading and backing off they went for the sustained fights. The idea of going in forcing ults and backing out made her ults somewhat useless for those of us that did it. The rest just got massacred even with all armor/hp.

That said I think her ult is meant as a zone control in teamfights rather than a slaughter zone and they work well at doing that. They can force the enemy out of a teamfight or into losing it if they stay. It's also great at holding towers against sieges. There are definitely worse ults out there.
