Whose smart brain coded matchmaking and MMR system ?

Wait a second ? Im a fairly new lol player. I play lol for a 7 months. I started back in May 2016 and as every new player when i got to 30 i insta started ranked and had kda 4/11 , 11 minions average and won 1 out of 10 games and got placed in silver 5. Since then i climbed ONLY to silver 3, then on the season 7 placements i won 7 out of 10 games and got placed in bronze 4. I escaped bronze, came back to silver v and stood there. I gave my friend that account.

I made this account not 2 months ago. Played with HIGH PLATINUMS. Improved my dodging, my CSing, game knowledge, decision making and my mechanics overall. Placements time. I'm so excited. Hooray. Won 5 out of 10 games ( not so good but still ) with 7/4 kda and 170 minions on average. Lost the last placement (classic) and i was checking op.gg after every game to see my mmr. My mmr was at Gold 5 at the best, but due to 2 games losing streak it dropped off to silver 3. Looking at the defeat screen im talking to myself: "Ahhh, silver 3 or 2, im gonna make it to Gold before the season ends".

And what i found ?

"YOUR CLIMBING STARTS FROM SILVER 5 THIS SEASON"

Wait, is someone here fucking with me or what ? You can have 4/11 kda and win 1, JUST 1 GAME AND GET PLACED IN SILVER 5. There's no difference for you ? Im not QQing how i shouldnt be in silver v (i shouldnt, i will climb to gold v in no time, that's not a problem for me anymore). But where's the logic.

The guy who just started playing LoL can win one game with a terrible kda and minions per game and still be the same division as i am ? For real ?

*cannot upload a pic atm, but you can check my op.gg and see my MMR and my division.. This is not funny at all, Riot i think your April 1st is earlier this year.

P.S. Im sorry for the typing errors, english is not my native language, and im so mad now that i literally dont give af about errors.

What good is there in a game mode that heavily encourages self improvement, if the person is in a "safe" spot with their rank, and is a little too at ease? The soft resets are made so that isn't the case, and judging by how you're wasting no time to down talk the people you've partnered up with (strangers no less), I see that you still need to improve. Learn what you need to, in order to get better.

2 months to get to level 30 man that's dedication lol but ya the mmr is kinda annoying based on wins and losses not skill at all

Booooo hoooo, poor you got placed in a low ELO with only having just picked up the game. So sad. I've been trying to climb out of low ELO for a long time; I usually quit because of all the unskilled fucktards in my groups.

Got a placement you didn't like? So did 99% of people. They justify it with 'it's about the climb' thing, and I suppose it is. If you are going to climb to 'gold v easy' then by the end of the season you should reach it...which is about November.

Lemme tell you something about League of Legends: it's not a fair game. It's also not a balanced game. Nothing about it is fair or balanced. That's why you will see major 'tweaks' each patch, or major game breaking bugs where an item or champion is disabled because nothing is balanced to begin with. The MMR isn't fair or logical at all. The reason they won't reveal is it because people will see that and probably riot. I'd laugh, but nothing is funny about riot. Or fun. This is a game you play to get pissed and angry and just hate something more than whatever is bothering in the current day. The longer you play it, the less you will like it. There's a reason why so many people leave the game/take 'breaks' for 4+ months at a time.
