This is the fact whether you hate yasuo love yasuo or are neutral on the subject

A majority of the community hate this champ and anything associated with him

This isn't an opinion anymore, it's a fact. Even if he's getting a ''small rework'' or whatever you want to call it.

Why is he not fixed right now? The champ has been complained about for how long? Just nerf the Q cooldown or something.

It's amazing how CertainlyT even tried to justify yasuos state of balance and said i think everyone can deal with him fairly easy.

No thats bulshit, It's not that we dont want to deal with him, i'm just so sick of free stat champs snowballing 3x as hard and completely voiding my lane

Just nerf the Q cooldown or something.

It scales with attack speed.

What they should do with Yasuo is the same they do with Tryndamere Kalista Azir Kindred Mordekaiser

Nerf to the ground until they get reworked.

Just delete his ultimate turret interaction, make his ultimate cooldown 90s instead of 38 and nerf his W cooldown.

Or they could fix the actual problem, either nerf his shield passive or nerf the Windwall. Q is just a glorified AA, there is no reason for it to get nerfed when after 2 items there is already very little reason to Q instead of AA because it can end up dealing less damage.

I didn't say to nerf Q. I said E->Q. As in the targeted knock-up that has no counterplay. That, and Q3's duration; how long you can hold onto it.

His Windwall is a huge issue. In a jungle fight, Yasuo can press W and for 4 seconds the enemy backline is removed from the fight. The shield let's him get free trades, though it can be played around.

I've come to a conclusion about yasuo.

Take 1/2 of the passive away(doesent matter whch one) Change 2 of his abilities( I don't care which ones)

Thematically keeping Shield part of the passive His W and his E( making him the hypermobile champion) best fits him

At this point I don't care what they do about Yasuo, just keep his QER ult the same. Windwall can go away for all I care, and I won't really care about the build changes if he is still fun to play.

Maybe you could git gud? Yasuo isn't a problem anymore (though W could use some nerfs maybe), his banrate and winrate both take a HUGE hit in Diamond elo, because they actually use their brain and deal with him, which is actually godamn easy. Hit Yasuo with 1 CC and he dies, it's literally that simple, it's not rocket science. I don't see how hitting R on Naut against a Yasuo is any harder than hitting R on their carry, and I don't see why everybody is making such a huge double standard out of it.

Someone who can actually carry games as Yasuo in silver. Nice KDA and farm on Yasuo my friend, if he's so overpowered and needs a nerf why are your stats such mediocre garbage with him in an elo three divisions below your own?

Because Riot really don't care about what the community actually thinks.

They have their own vision for the game, and they constantly move the game towards that vision. Their goal for the game is for every champion to have some "unfair" thing that feels really unfun to play against - the reasoning being that if everyone has one, then no one is "overpowered" because of it - which completely ignores that a game like that isn't actually fun any more.
