Why the mage nerf is devestating as a top laner

Today I'd like to talk about what I see in the game so far and why it's going to go back down. With the last few patches being towards bruisers and top lane with Deadman's, Conquerer, and the Irelia rework, I felt Riot actually had it in the right direction. Then of course this mana rework.

How does this affect me as a top laner you're probably wondering. It affects me and all top laners because we barely have any contact with the bot lane all laning phase, save a teleport play if your bot lane has the right wards in place.

Bot lane currently is the strongest role right now, albeit the jungle is also incredibly strong as well. What this means is that for the most part, its up to the jungle and mid laner to try and help their bot lane.

With this change it just means that mid laners will have a harder time clearing waves fast enough while conserving mana in order to roam bot. This means for the most part its now only the jungle who can heavily influence bot. This makes it so that the bot laners only have to worry about jungler ganks and not fear much about mid roams. In turn, it makes bot lane have an easier time getting their ridiculous cheap items or easier to snowball with fear of only being ganked by the JG or a really good tp play, which can easily be avoided.

Please don't do this Riot, mages are not even close to the issues we have right now in today's game.
