Bless you Riot. All game last game I had a constant 200+ ping. I launched Tera mid game, 50 ping. Closed that, launched World of Warships. 50 ping. Closed that. Launched Smite. 50 ping. Closed that. Launched my command prompt and typed ping 216.52.241.254 -t for it to report back to me what my ping is. 50 ping. Checked back in league, 200+ ping constantly. What a fucking joke.
Some software, depending on how the connectivity is set up, will be more vulnerable to net issues than others. This is unfortunately the case for games like League where it's less about just connecting to some big server, but you're connecting to the instance in a server that hosts the connection of ten people. So you're more than likely to see any potential issues with your internet in a game of League, than in a typical MMO. I know this, because I've experienced this, and I've gone through the same problems in the past.
Maybe you should move closer to the lol servers? You might be able to hit silver then.
Yea league server has been acting up after the new patch.
