It's pretty sad playing ranked

I go in expecting to lose. No other game makes me feel like this. I go into ranked and say "wonder how much LP I'll lose". Hell in these provisionals I'm not even surprised to lose, whether it's my own fault or my teams. I go into games expecting to lose and I feel that that's a serious issue with just how ranked is structured. I've played so many other games with a competitive mode and fully expect that I'm able to win but not with league. It's a depressing thing but it's just the vibe ranked gives off.

Games are not even close in ranked anymore. It's basically a coin flip. Shouldn't have to play 5 games to have 1 close one. Unbalanced champions/items and unbalanced matchmaking.

Not sure how you got these up votes. It doesn't make sense, if you win a lot and are that confident in other games, then there have to be losers in said game. If in League of Legends you are losing a lot, then there have to be winners.

You just need to relax, take a break, let your tilt blow over and realize the game is JUST A GAME. You will often have bad games, but if you have enough patience and put the effort in every game you will come across victories. Even whole streaks of victories, I promise you.

i did the same thing today, i was doing placements and it was going okay? i was 3-3 and then the 7th game was so bad, that i legit just said "im going into these games expecting to lose" and i ended 3-7, the games were probably some of the lowest quality games ive ever played of league.

I go into Ranked expecting to lose because nine times out of ten the team and myself keep making stupid plays and I end up getting more and more tilted until I pick troll picks because this fucking matchmaking is horrible.

just played my first provisional match 2 days ago on this account. was top lane. which is fine. Picked nasus. I'm bronze 1 in my main account. I looked up the teams, and the opposing team had 3 gold and 2 silvers from Season 7. gold including the fiora i was facing. We had 1 gold and 3 silver and me (bronze.)

I actually end up doing good. I get a kill off their jg ganking. So a 1 for 1. I try to auto fiora when she qs me for grasp procs. Soon enough I was able to 1 v 1 her. Well my bot lane didn't care as they fed their jhin god knows how many times in a matter of 10 minutes. Game was over before it even started. This shit is depressing. I was actually doing preety good against a higher rank opponent, but I cant even enjoy tis shit anymore due to this "team" game. SO HARD to carry, but so EASSSSYYY to throw a game by urself. Next game I did awful as an ashe, resulting from the roaming enemy diana and enemy twitch who got a couple of kills in a fight near drake pit. 2 Games after that I get a nid supp who decides its smart to feed herself instead of the adc. The mf I was facing was garbage. I froze lane forcing her to lose cs, she also died multiple times due to being too far up trying to cs. However that didnt matter since my nidalee thought adcs didnt need kills. Like mf came back to get a bunch of kills while i went 4-10. I just dont understand why there are trolls in this game. She had the nerve to talk about how she had the most kills as a supp... Like ashe is alrdy weak. She requires a few items to actually do anything. anyways games were all lost. pity this game could be so much better. but i swear i keep getting depressed over this shit.

Solo Q is a blessing and a curse. Its great because it lets normal people play competitively and feel competitive without finding 4 other people for a team. But its a curse because you dont know any of the randoms you get matched with and their goals/what they are going to do. And, the game is so snowbally and team-focused, they affect your game far more than say, solo Qing in CS:GO or Overwatch or something where your aim will carry you. If your mid feeds kat 5 kills, your game is probably just over if you are Ashe or something. There seems to be far too many people who Q ranked with little care of winning or trying. They are tilted from last game, from previous teammates, etc. Just a cascading system of randoms who just don't give a fk at any given time. Its like how Traffic starts. Sometimes it starts just because a few cars slowed down. Your shit-show of ranked teammates started earlier in the day when one team got a troll, which spread like a virus into every other game.

I dunno, I only Q ranked to win. So i feel your pain when you constantly get people who don't. They want to troll, they want to lose, they want to ruin other people's fun just to be that person, and revel in others' misery, etc. These are the people who will deny trading you in ARAM to reroll the champ away on purpose. Just those kinds of people. Nothing you can do but just write those games off and try and not let it ruin the others, which is hard because these dudes exist in damn near every game.

Every now and then you will get taht good game. That one where everyone is trying to win. You or the enemy team doesn't have some troll picker/thrower, some guy raging 35 minutes in and throwing on purpose to "teach you a lesson cause you don't deserve to win," and you see how good League could be. And then next game you get a guy banning your champ and insta locking Teemo support and tower diving at lvl 1.

The current state of the game was already clear since the very beginning of the pre-season. They did nothing about. Hope they'll get what they deserve for that :P

Its also fun to go into placement matches and get autofilled 4 FUCKING TIMES.

Its amazing when I lose those games too, its almost like I was forced to play a role I wasn't good at.

I want proper ranked teams back. Not flex queue garbage, the old school ranked 5v5 where your team had a rating and was guaranteed to be matched vs another team. I tried to do 5 man flex queues last season and we realized that a bunch of our wins were just because the enemy was a 3 man and a duo and obviously we had more coordination. That doesn't feel as good to win and it doesn't help us become better players
