Champs with Suppression ala Malzahar

I think Riot needs to rethink his ult so that if he is ulting someone his teammates cannot swipe the kill. Or in the very least, he should be getting the kill gold and the person who swipes it should only be getting the assist kill.

Too many times as Malzahar, and I have played allot of games does my team walk in and literally swipe a kill.

Your mid, you have not seen your jungle all game, 12 min in and you have your enemy laner in a death grasp and your jungle finally graces your lane and has done nothing all game for you but will last hit and steal the kill.

This should be fixed

The whole point of malz ult is for kill secure. You are playing malz to coordinate with teamates. If you want a scorched earth this kill is mine type ult mage play syndra or viegar.

I get that, during teamfights yes. But when a teammate happens to walk by while someone is in ult and about to die and last hits it, its just fkn lame. So your wrong. People take advantage of that and basically snipe and farm every kill and do nothing to earn it.

So no, you are wrong.

Well...if they are dead go blow up their tower and get the gold for that then. Besides you may not even finish them. A gaurenteed kill with assist is always better.

No, it shouldn't.

If your jungler graces your lane at the last moment to get a single hit in and steal the kill from you, then what he actually did is increase the kill amount by 150 gold.

If your jungler is sitting there waiting for the last hit, then that's a different story.

But we all do that from time to time when a Zac passive goes off: Waiting for the perfect moment to hit that last blob.

In general, though, assisted kills are more valuable than non-assisted kill.

If you're so concerned for your petty KDA and would rather be a stat whore than a team player, play Urgot. His ultimate can get him the kills very easily.

Disclaimer: not saying Urgot players are stat whores. Just saying if OP is oh so worried, that's one way to go.

Well no. If they let you solo kill, your team has 300 gold extra. On you. If they come in for one hit so they get an assist, your team has 450 gold. 300 on you. 150 on them. If they are unable to damage your target without taking the kill, it is still the best thing to do because it increases your teams gold advantage. Even if you get 150 and they get the 300.

It is far too common I see players quickly finish their target when an ally comes near so they get the 300, that the assist gold is wasted. Don't be that player. Kills give shutdown gold when you die later, assists do not. Do not help your enemy by greeding a solo kill.

Malzahar's ult is supposed to be a lockdown. You find a favourable position and you use it to lock the enemy carry in place. It's actually a feature that you need your team to finish up the kill, since you cannot do anything besides chanelling for as long as you are chanelling the spell. It's not supposed to be an indicator that says "THIS KILL BELONGS TO ME AND IF YOU TAKE IT I'M GOING TO COMPLAIN ON THE FORUMS".

Besides, it's not like other champions get kill stealed all the time anyway, right? [slayer-jinx-unamused]
