Yes, he looks nothing like the current mundo, but if you read mundo's lore or just think about his persona and you have to choose from the current champion pool then there is no doubt that this model is supposed to be mundo.

Remember when the nexus has 6 summoners around it? Then when riot visually updated the rift, they changed it to 4 . . . but there's always been 5 players.

Indeed, my friend. I believe the 6th prior to the update was for minions, jungle monsters etc. While the 5 were for champs. 4 makes no sense since as players we ARE THE SUMMONERS. So I petition that at the start of every game one person should randomly be dropped on each team with a "Only 4 Summoners Aloowed" message or some such nonsense.

Perhaps that could work on a smaller map &/or in a unique gamemode; like a 5 minute round of something, then 30 seconds to switch out someone with the backup spectator, then another round, ext.
