I'm new to ranked and I was put in the Silver V Division after my 10 matches.
I like playing a tanky top such as Dr. Mundo. However, I keep getting bad match ups such as ranged and I have zero kill potential as Mundo.
So I went to support. I have lost so many games it isn't even funny.
I need a tanky top that actually has decent kill potential.
Any thoughts? Thank you!
Ryze. Top lane, tanky, burst, screws up 90% of the top laners.
Maokai has good kill potential?
I actually have hin locked already and tried him in the jungle a few times.

Garen, Cho'gath, Nasus, Nautilus when built with a little AP (similar to cho) is very dangerous I find, Renekton, Shen, Singed, Volibear.

Ryze is exactly what you're looking for.
Don't forget the get the utility mastery tree and the TP. Gank bot lane for profit/contest dragon. Rush tear and try to start the combo with E , since it removes MR. You can rush glacial shroud if you're losing lane VS AD or go for ROA.
Q (mid air and press R)+E+W+Q is the best possible burst scenario

let me give you some advice, 21/9 <9/21 almost always unless you are playing say fiora, even on aatrox 9/21 is better then 21/9

Maokai. Really anyone can be tanky depending how you build them.
maximum mana, maxim mana HP regen, mana regen, mobility , spell vamp. Put 4 in offensive tree and you start with 10% CD. With some runes his Q is now his auto attack and stacking tear gets quicker. Plus the mastery that gives you gold on hit and you'll get rich in the top lane.
