I just played against one and he doesnt seem that bad... His shield is downright dumb, makes him a tank on TOP of his spellvamp and a 20% book that he buys. He practically wins duels with his sheild and heals, plus he can poke you pretty decently

of course if, his strength can compensate that to an extent, getting some early kills.. you might as well 1 v 2 or atleast chase them both off well within to power of your kit to do that
xLegendary Troll1 votesHe's better top lane where cc and gap closer are not really as important as in mid. Also, gap closer put the enemy right in front of Morde, isolated, just what he wants to get extra damage in with his Q.
rG Thundrag1 votesMordekaiser has been getting a lot of indirect buffs since the base stat changes, mages have less mana, no one gets chalice anymore so they have even less mana regen.
His shield doesn't proc zed ult's bonus damage modifier as he isn't actually taking damage which is a nice plus.
