Soooooo I guess my question is in the title, I'm wondering what you guys think about sivir. Is she still a viable adc right now? I mean maybe it's because I'm relatively new to her, but I frequently hear how mind numbingly easy she is to carry with because of ricochet, but I somehow typically do more damage and perform better overall as other more "difficult" adc's

Just isn't that popular because she's teamwork oriented, and we all know that teamwork in league of legends is just another name for toilet paper, but even in a 1v9 situation, sivir can do just fine.

Sivir is the hardest counter to cait in the game as an adc. She's pretty good against jihn too. The problem with sivir she sacrifices personal mobility to give her team mobility and in SoloQ that is almost always not worth it.
TakaDama1 votesAs a player who prefers sivir when forced to play ADC, she's alright. The only problems I have with her are A) she is mana hungry without Essence Reaver, B) she is gold hungry as an adc, and C) her ability to survive in teamfights is directly related to how much your teammates can protect you.
Otherwise, she has multiple forms of harass, a spellshield, and farming/pushing potential like no other (speaking of which, old Sivir with old Bloodthirster and old Warmog's was fun to play as).

TakaDama1 votesHmm ... had not considered this actually: she would be great with Tear early on and, if necessary, she can sell it for some amount to help build essence reaver or upgrade to manamune. Just a shame that muramana's on hit does not work ... wait, does it say abilities and basic attacks for muramana's effect?
Because if it works with Ricochet, her damage potential just skyrocketed, and combined with Death's Dance provides a ton of sustain as well.
RookPusher1 votesI ask because I build it on Varus in lieu of ER and it does a world of good. I've found a less successful option with Jhin and Tear.

mr me3seeks1 votesThanks for the comments everyone idk I enjoy playing her, her waveclear is just plain stupid and she is quite a bit of fun but, I am frustrated because I keep hearing how easy she is and yet I tend to do better as draven lol, given I have far more time spent on draven I just simply would have assumed sivirs skill floor is rock bottom

I also find people routinely max her Q first, and I stand behind going W all the way to glory.
