A few things to note about Ivern

  • his passive costs health and mana. For the first clear it takes 40s and goes down based on level. You can smite to clear immediately.
  • his ult is basically another tibbers. It goes after champions, turrets, and monsters. Not inhibs and nexus tho
  • He can store 3 brush at a time. Used like GP Barrels.
  • After clearing a buff after 5, it is pinged on the map. It is like RH buff
  • If you wish to make 3 'groves' right off the bat (meaning you wanna clear 3 camps right off the bat), you'll go from full to about 1/5 health (depending on runes/masteries probably).
  • You can't attack any jungle monsters except dragon and baron
  • THE PASSIVE WORKS ON SCUTTLE :O

I think thats about it.....for those wondering lol

Wait what the fuck?

It takes 40 seconds for his first clear?

Also from the video I saw, the pickup range on buff seems fairly large (like, larger than dragon pit size large), or the ring was for something else. But the ring appeared after beating the buff, so I dunno. It also automatically gave it to Lux without her moving to pick it up. How does it prioritize/pick a champion to give it to?

Yes but I figured out later you can smite for the kill and buff and smite buff immediately. So effectively, the first clear can actually be 5s or less.

The clear can literally be less than 1s depending on how fast you are at smiting after you place your grove.

His kit is on FF@20 in actual numbers now, but it doesn't show the decrease in time/level. What does it go to?

It goes down 2s each level

So if its 40s at lvl 1, it'll be 4s at lv 18

So his clears are pretty much super slow outside of occasional smites. rip

Does he get any other bonuses or such from clearing regular junglers don't?

No that remains the same as other junglers. It's just his clearing method that's changed.

I feel like he'd just be invaded to hell and back and be unable to do anything then pretty much without relying on Smite.

But the fact that he is so vulnerable will mean that an invasion will be expected, and when invasions are expected/prepared for (and your team is actually paying attention) then invades tend to not go too well for the invader.

Even if Ivern expects it, he has next to no fighting capability against a jungler that would be invading in the first place. And forcing his laners to come help wastes their time which puts enemy laners ahead.
