I dont think they should be able to fear you if you see them. If you have a sweeper on them they should just start damaging you, but not fear.

Stepping onto a bear trap, seeing it or not, is still going to activate. Its true for Caitlyn, real life, and I think every trap in league.
Just go around and shaco is supposed to be hard to kill he has a Clone, a invisability thats like a flash, a slow and his traps. Hes just made to be annoying.
i have to agree with you on this, its pretty ridiculous, especially with the damage it does when he builds ap... and i feel like the fear aspect of shaco boxes is because they are invisible, and when they pop up they fear/scare you, but if you have a sweeper going and know its there, why are you getting scared/feared? :P thinking about it too realistically i know, but you cant compare shaco box with caitlyn trap in this situation
I pointed this out a few months ago when they changed the way his boxes worked.
In my opinion, a revealed box should have a reduced activation / attack range. Lower it down to something like 100 units so a melee champion can attack it without triggering the fear, but if they walk up to it they will still get feared.
Shaco is too damn cancerous dude. This champ does so much legit of u try to fight him the game is literally against u. His has a low cd q where u literally have no idea where he is then he will use his w that fears for a good amount of time the itself is rl strong forcing u to go back while shaco is attacking u cuz for some reason the box needs like 4 hits and then he makes a clone and u have to guess midfight who's the real one. This guy has so much and don't go like oh he's mind games no it's r%%%%%ed that's not mind games cuz there's literally almost no way to beat the guy unless he's stupid cuz he has ten different waay to go back to safety. Make his q cd higher and his boxes easier to kill and disable them when u use sweeping. What's the point of using sweeping to find boxes if they'll hit u anyway?
I mean if that happens then he would have a useless w right? What's the point In having that ability If it's so easily countered. With max cdr it's like 10 seconds for placing it as well. I think it's fine the way It is
I think this is funny because before it didn't use to fear if you used sweeper, but they changed to always fear I guess to buff shaco. At least as far as I could remember

I can see what you mean, but generally you would have a ranged ability on you to kill it with since tbh the health on it is terrible.
