The "target champions only" feature: a suggestion

It'd be great if the "target champions only" toggle was upgraded to a "alternate targeting" toggle, which applies rules to your targeting based on checkbox type options somewhere in the options menu.

What does that mean? Well say you main jungler, and you want to ignore champions during alternate targeting mode so you can smite past them better. You uncheck "target champions" under the category "alternate targeting mode" and voila, now your alternate targeting mode will target anything BUT champions. Or you main support, and you want alternate targeting mode to target anything BUT minions so you don't accidentally click one and stun yourself in lane. You just uncheck "target minions" under "alternate targeting mode". Now alternate targeting mode will allow you to click on champions and blast cones, but not minions.
