KR Server Statistical Reports (has GAREN)
Hello, dear fellow Boardsmen.
I am Aygo, a Korean LoL player, currently finding habitat in Plat in Korean server. This account was used before I moved to Korea, because the ping for NA was too high (200).
There's a community in Korea called "Inven", for LoL; those who use reddit might've heard of em.
Anyways, for the first week of Solo Que play in Korean servers, a statistical report has been generated, which the link is given.
The copyright for this report is said to be free for all to distribute; but I am not too sure. But I think it's fine as long as you credit the creator (김해출신), and as long as it's not used commercially and only for discussions in boards.
The boards limit the attachment of files to 4, which is a shame. So I left out the Highest Pickrate / Lowest Winrate for Silver Leagues, which is file 3. don't worry about this as you can visit the entire report in the given link.
I'm sure this is still readable without much translations, so here goes.

and I would like to point out that Garen is the lowest in Win Rates for Diamond+. This is relevant to me because before the rework, I won 70% of games as Garen, but now I lose 70. This is less about players adapting to his style, because there really isn't much to be training on the 'easiest champ to play' in LoL. The buffed damage is seeing light in Silvers and the likes, where they stand around for you to come close, but the nerfed Q and deleted tenacity is showing its devastating consequences to Garen
Honestly, as a Garen user, I really hope the rework didn't happen. The high dmg output is dwarfed by that of Darius (who is MVP champ for highest winrates all around), and the villain system just sucks. I don't want to ult a Nami who got kills by accidents, okay? Jesus. Garen should be able to assign Villain with his Q Decisive Strike, because the name itself is DECISIVE STRIKE, and if you get hit by his Q it means you already set yourself up in a death trap, no excuses. Seriously, Darius passive grants 200 bonus AD? Are you kidding me? and his Q heals for 1000+? Just... no. Stahp Rito. and Garen now loses to Riven, due to the nerfed Silence. This is very obviously seen here in Korea. Seriously, what the heck is wrong about you Rito about silences? Garen, Talon, all my favorites, now without silences (practically). What, I bet y'all are planning to take that away on my Cho'Gath too, ye?
I write these words in fury because I want to know if Riot plans to fix Garen, and set him up on the right track. People in high elo are suffering because of your narrow insights. Repertoir did a good job I would say, but the rework was doomed to be a down-side hill roll for Garen for the direction it was ultimately headed. And then I see CertainlyT posting "Perhaps I'm just dense!" in boards... it makes me wonder how Rito picks its employees...
I got lost, I'm sorry. I write these words in fury because I want to know if Riot plans to fix Garen, so I can decide right now
if I want to refund his skins that I bought some time ago. I no longer think Garen is playable. I loved to play Garen and win 70% of games with my skills, and now losing 70%, I no longer think I am good at Garen, and regret my investments in him, time-wise and money-wise. I don't know why I bought desert trooper Garen for 260RP, but even that is a loss for me, so I'm considering refunds.
