Sword of the occult jazz

Now i've heard many complaints due to the removal of sword of the occult lately. And as a player who isn't keen on AD champs i was kinda open to the idea. But then i saw all of the people who are casual gamers, who use sword of the occult just for fun. And i totally see what they mean about riot 'taking the fun out of league'. Now i find fun in the competitive side of league, but for those who don't this is a huge change that has turned into a large dispute. Right before i start, i would just like to thank riot for really trying their best to improve their game. And in a way, they have been successful. With mordekaiser jazzing up the ADC role and changes to previously 'snoozy adcs' it is going to make a huge difference for the fun in competitive play. In all fairness, i can totally see where riot is coming from in their ideas to remove . Take caitlyn for example, double range when she lands her W or E would be very strong with sword of the occult. And with the implementation of other cool AD items, sword of the occult just gets outscaled. But removing it from the game in my opinion, just isn't the right aproach. Just a nerf to numbers, or making it harder to collect and sustain stacks would be a simple option. Or you could make a gamemode where ALL deleted items are implemented, i would sure like a good old game with the old DFG huh.

In conclusion, i beleive that league of legends should expand its gameplay not by simply jazzing up old characters. But also diversifying the variety of gameplay choices that players can make. And of course this message can be ignored, or added to the never ending labyrinth of forgotten pleas for removed items etc. But just once, could riot think about not diversifying just competetive gameplay. Because league isn't just a competetive game.
