Elemental Dragons are a Bad Idea

Maybe they are fun to watch in esports, but they are a bad idea for players. Putting one team at a permanent advantage/disadvantage for the rest of the game with no comeback mechanic is a poor idea.

Games are already very snowbally and elemental dragons contribute to this. At least if one player on the other team gets fed you can get shut down gold. But there is no way to come back from the elemental dragon power deficit.

Its a team objective, why shouldnt the team that gets it have the advantage?

The bigger question is why do teams need these overpowered objectives in the first place? It's not like it's impossible to snowball to victory without them. I remember back when gold was the only thing it gave, and that was enough to snowball your team to victory most of the time. If your team isn't able to end the game with just gold, then you don't deserve to win.

Gold is stronger than the dragon buffs though, because you can tailor it to what stats you want.

In it's current form if something goes wrong and the other team picks up a 6min ocean drake the laning phase is basically over (unless you have massive all-in potential).

This is just a terrible mechanic.
