@Riot @Meddlar can you please make a compensation for the Swain nerf?

I am not asking for a revert for the Swain nerf. I am asking for a compensation.

In my opinion, Swain's nerf wasn't necessary. I understand he might be a little strong because of DFT, but Riot hit him in the wrong spot. They should have nerfed something else in his kit. But seriously, from 2 seconds to 1 second root duration at rank 1 seems to be a retarded idea. It has 18 seconds cooldown at rank 1!!! 18 SECONDS COOLDOWN!!!!!!! Seriously it is not even easy to land. One of the hardest skillshots in the game. While being his ONLY way to chase or escape....... and to wave clear if you don't wanna burn all your mana via your ult. Seriously Riot??? Also keep in mind that people rarely build cooldown reduction on Swain...

Please buff Swain to compensate for the root nerf. Here are a few ideas to take from: 1-Improve his attack animation so he can last hit easier (MUST HAPPEN). 2-Decrease the cooldown of his W. from 18/16/14/12/10 seconds to 14/13/12/11/10 seconds would be a neat change. 3-I saw someone suggesting to make Swain's Q do damage every 0.25 seconds instead of every 1 second. That would be a nice QOL change to make his Q a better way to farm and to more damage ticks to enemies before the leave its range. 4-Can you slightly increase the slow of his Q at rank 1? People will now most likely max Q last because of the W nerf. I always maxed my Q second to increase the slow which made it easier to hit W.

The nerf to his cc over his other abilities was to keep his identity as a sustain damage beast while addressing the fact that his snare was really powerful at just rank one. Given his slow into snare set-up, it gave him alot of lane control while maxing his damage instead of investing into his cc. They could slightly drop the cd on it, but that's not really needed on him. He still retains alot of his power, though the introduction of more readily available grievous wounds does hurt him. It puts him into the same category as the other sustain tanks, who are still doing quite well.

Are you asking to buff the most buffed champion in the history of the game?

Good luck with this...... Seems like Riot is happy with hitting 3-5 champs hard for this patch. You are up in arms with Swain and I feel the same about Soraka. We can only hope some beneficial tweaks are in the near future :D

I have hopes for you......but I feel like some more Raka nerfs are coming xD

If they wanted to shift power, they would have shifted power.

As it is, I don't think they'll feel any need to buff him.

Unlikely. Firstly, the nerf wasn't just DFT. The ROA buffs were good to him too. Secondly, Riot perceived Swain as too strong. No champion gets compensation when the goal is to remove power from them.
