Go to amazon and buy about $40Bucks of Ram (8GB) and a fresh boot of windows. I have old laptops running pentium's that can still run league at 60 frames...

You are probably so technology illiterate that you have done no trouble shooting and just blame whatever the fuck you are running as the problem.

You can build a rig to run LoL for like $500 lol. $500 is probably overkill.

I built my computer for $700, it's certainly overkill for League.

Have you tried reading the patch notes?

NEW TOASTERS ON: Added a “Low-spec mode” switch in settings that lets players turn off certain animations and effects if they’re suffering from performance issues. Right now this mostly affects some minor aspects of the champ select experience, but we'll expand Low-spec mode to cover more features in upcoming patches.

You can revert it yourself for now - and I think Riot has said they're working on some compatibility stuff with it still to get it running on lower end PCs.

That being said, my PC was like $280 and doesn't have any issues with the client.

my problem is that the old client needs to update new patches before starting up.

Yeah, true, but once it does it once it stays done

I could play League on a potato and still get through champion select.

I play league on my 8years old laptop that I brough for college. Intel Celeron with 2gb RAM. If that dinasour can run it at decent framerate (45fps) pretty much any computer from this decade can

Read the patch notes, or just launch the legacy client.
