Swain is a "ball of stats" champion that should never be allowed to be strong.

What does being a "ball of stats" champion imply? It implies the champion doesn't require skill to play, they just need to have more stats than whoever they are against and then they point and click and win. Swain fits this idea completely. His stats outscale whoever he is laning against very quickly. So quickly that if he doesn't die before his first recall that is enough to outscale almost anyone he lanes against. He can return to lane and immediately jump on them and right click and they will die.

He's too strong for how simple his kit is. He's the epitome of click on enemy to dive and and win as long as your stats are superior no outplaying required.

When laning against Swain, the burden of outplaying is always on his opponent, not on him. He "outplays" his opponent by not dying and waiting until the moment he has better stats and outscales whoever he's against which usually happens by the 1st or 2nd recall. Since Swain's opponent has to harass and kill him early on to win he has to push the wave and show aggression which leaves him open to being ganked. If you die to Swain a single time he's automatically ahead and you are no longer allowed to CS. If Swain dies to you it just takes a little longer for him to reach her outscaling point.

He doesn't have to earn his power it just happens from not dying early it's too easy for how strong he is.

He needs nerfs until he is reworked. He should be bottom tier like cassieopeia until the rework arrives.

he has no "ball of stats" whatsoever, is only ap damage, and has 2 skillshots.

the perfect example of a "ball of stats" is Irelia

having a "ball of stats" simply means your kit has everything and there's no counterbuild/counterplay to it

Someone salty. Lost to too many swains?

They just reworked his q so you can exit that if you don't want damage, executioner's calling or morrelo is a thing, and if we're talking about stats, as in numbers, there are other champions that are far more faulty

Many diamond players back this knowledge up.... And while I'm not diamond I do have one more thing to say...

Low elos should learn to stop back talking diamond 1s or higher. If someone from bronze has an opinion that differs from a diamond 1's, the bronzie should NOT try to reason with the high elo. He shouldn't ask why either. He should take what the diamond says as fact without talking back. Too many times, I've seen a bronzie backtalk a diamond 1, and it's disgusting, because the bronzie is wrong most of the time. The only time a bronzie is right is when 500,000 bronzies are talking back to a single diamond 1. There's a reason why you're stuck in bronze. It's because you think differently than the diamonds. Start thinking like a diamond.

Well, this thread isn't right. A ball of stats champion is someone who's mechanics really cannot be dodged, so it really comes down to who is outright stronger at that moment in the game and how much health do they have to who will win.

Think Irelia, Olaf, and others like that for a more accurate ball of stats champion. Swain has a lot of things you can avoid and a reasonable amount you can't. The only thing in his kit you really can't play around is his E since it's just a point and click ability. His R can be somewhat manipulated by bunching in minions or getting a Grievous Wounds item (this item 3033 exists). He is too strong right now for sure and does have some problems with his kit that could be better, but he isn't what you are calling him.

They just overbuffed him. Tbh the change on his R was pretty drastic to be perfectly balanced on release.

I think he will be fine once the heal will be tuned down.

He definitely needs to be nerfed. With only RoA and Spirit Visage he can easily 1v1 any other champion in the game with equal items. He doesn't even need to be ahead to do well. Just press R and win. It's worse than the point and click which Riot claims to be working towards phasing out.
