Is Tahm Kench the Ryze/Akali of Supports?

Last time I checked TK had a 42-43% win rate, yet when I play him in game I feel like he has a pretty strong kit if used correctly. He might need slightly better regen/tankiness and his laning phase can be a pain in the neck, but I feel his versatility and ability to flank from a ways off is quietly super powerful (I say quietly because a 42-43% win rate population may not be using this properly) and can be used to catch overextended or escaping champions. Thoughts?

His low win-rate stems from lack of communication with his team, specifically in solo queue. The champ itself is only good when paired with an ADC (or other team members) who know how to take full advantage of his devour and push the envelope (dive/engage/ult). If you do well with him, chances are you duo queue or just play with people who have a basic understanding of what his kit allows you to do.

IF however you play with people who don't communicate, he is probably one of the worst champions in the game right now (aside from Rakan who got completely destroyed by the last patch). He can't stand his own (as a support), is honestly not that tanky, even with his grey shield, and has been nerfed so many times that he has become a meme.

Don't play him in ranked unless you have a duo partner who truly recognizes when and when not to engage with the Kench. Otherwise its just a 4v5.

This coming from someone who used to play him religiously but had to give him up if I had any hope of climbing the last season.
