Riot, Stop With Counterplay. I'VE HAD IT!

To start this off, this is NOT a q-q thread, this is essentially why riot need to STOP this stupid "counterplay" standard they have been using recently to nerf and buff champions. I am fine with this standard, but riot obviously isn't applying this to EVERY CHAMPION, only the champions THEY want? Riot, who do you think you are!?!? We pay your salaries, we feed you families, you do not get to take liberties with OUR game by nerfing and buffing champions YOU please and say "oh that champ had a lack of counterplay" "oh that champion had too much counterplay". I have HAD IT. If you want to continue on this path then here is a few examples of champions to either rework or just plain remove.

Vi: ultimate is literally unstoppable, point and click. inescapable no matter how far away you get.

Bltizcrank: Can pull you in, knock you up, and silence you before you can even react. Nuff said.

Lissandra: Don't even get me STARTED with how much "counterplay" this champion has! You nerf veigars stun, which lets be honest, was a hard to hit skillshot, well guess what? This champions ult Is straight up UNMISSABLE, point and click and she can ult herself AND other people! Talk about counterplay!.

Every Fed Assassin in this game: I.E. leblanc, with flash has 3 gapclosers and aint no way in HELL u getting away from this bitch.

Any champ with a DAMN SUPRESSION ULT: Have you ever seen a skarner pull a person into a malzahar? fuck that shit. Enough said this is obvious.

OR you could go the other route, not buff and nerf champions based off of counterplay. but instead on what is strong and if there is an op champ/up champ then fix them. The point is, if your going to do something, don't do it half cocked, go THROUGH with it. Personally I'd be fine with going through with this as I think the champs listed above are very UN-Fun for the people against them. Anyways, enough said. Peace :P

LoL is successful because of their "counterplay" standard. The "counterplay'' standard make it possible for players with the skill to overcome counters. LoL offers a reaction for every action, which is rare among PvP games. LoL is not completely balanced but it is the most balanced, competitive, PvP game!

Their reaction for every action and ''counterplay'' standard make it possible to satisfy individualism while reinforcing teamwork. People who get counterpicked can still play safe and build items to make them useful throughout the game regardless of being counterpicked. Their teammates can help their disadvantaged teammate. In other games if you get counterpicked there is no reaction besides accepting your loss. Your playstyle is ultimately what defines your chance of winning.

All those things you listed can be avoided with foresight and teamwork. The champions they nerf do have an advantage that others can not mitigate with skill. If you haven't looked at the statistics, I see a lot of champions with a winrate near 50%. The only ones that suffer are the ones being nerfed even though they had built in counterplays. Riot still makes mistakes but they do a good job at nerfing and buffing champions more so than other game companies. You might not see why they nerf certain champions none the less I believe they have a good reason behind it.

Im talking about nerfing a champion like veigar (whom I dont personally play) because of "counterplay" when lissandra has a 100% guaranteed stun/damaging abiltiy. And obviously both of those do have some form of counterplay, the thing that frustrates me is that riot nerfed veigar because of counterplay yet kept lissandras point and click practically guaranteed death the same. It's their VERSION of counterplay that they are putting on certain champions that they want to nerf/buff. but they arent holding every champion to the same standard of their version of counterplay.

"our game" it's actually their game and they can do whatever they want with it. We might give them money but so do anyone who sponsors the competitive scene and i would argue they actually get more money from sponsors than from us. Sorry to say this but you aren't entitled to tell them what they can or cannot do
