With the recent changes, it feels like Riot tries to listen to the community after all

We get:

  • A ping mute option that lets us void out "young/toxic players"
  • A rework on runes that was badly needed because it was never a good idea that players can unlock ingame advantages based on their playtime
  • 5 bans that let everyone on the team decide what's generally bad against their team or themselves
  • "On my way!" pings feeling more reassuring when everyone pings "On my way!" on the same objective
  • A rework on the Honor system that everyone knowingly forgot about because they either didn't care to honor their teammates or didn't care to receive honors themselves

It's not "Yasuo is dead and has been permanently disabled in all queues", but it's a start! I do hope however that we get slight compensation for losing runes. I really can't imagine going into laning phase anymore without my 10% CDR and mana regen as a Support, or 15 AD as ADC.

Point being, SOMETHING HAPPENS! It no longer feels like we're completely being ignored and all of our contributions to this board are wasted because nobody at Riot Games reads them anyway, so thank you very much for showing us that you take our feedback seriously.

Riot and us players still have a long way to go before the game is perfect, and it probably never will be, but we're trying to get there and that makes me, as somebody who thought about quitting because I recently lost all joy in playing, very happy.

Very much agreed.

Im curious how those that have bought runes will be compensated for sure, because they really should be if they spent real money on rune pages/bought all the rune pages and runes by spending the time to do them, sometimes before even buying all the champions.

The runes also gave a very wide variety of play available, including level 2 on first wave with a 6% exp boost.... 10+% crit chance lvl 1.... Cdr boost and mana regen boost.... Gold gain..... 15% total time dead reduction..... Etc.

However, im curious if there will be a new "ip dump" of sorts. You could spend well over 30k ip on runes, so after champions that still gave you something to use the IP on besides the champion shards for blue essence/when you own all the 4800 ip and below champions and reroll 3 for the 6300s.

I very much look forward to the new honor system, however i am still curious if they have something in place to keep "friend honor farming" to a minimum. Potentially by makkng it so those that are in a party together can not honor eachother?

The Runes Reforged will likely be one of their biggest changes to League yet. It will change the entire pre game, and in game a LOT. However currently I am not seeing any keystones for champions like Riven and more skill reliant champions...... So hopefully those are to come.

Also curious as to how the heal/shield boosts will be changed because of the shielding keystone they are testing out..... It will likely be flat and based on level, but that will give supports a whole heaping lot of extra shield with the thought of up to at least..... What..... 40%? Shield/heal boost from Mikeals, Redemption, Ardent Censor, and i think theres another that is just slipping my mind atm..... Anyways. Lulu will have a field day with it because she can already pretty much perma shield, Nami can shield while healing, Soraka can heal and shield....... It just sounds like there is going to be a LOT of supports both happy and frustrated simply because of the champion they like to support as. Hopefully one will be added that addreeses Zyra, Zilean, and etc's poking that can be utilized to its fullest rather than just "oh, half of this things effect i cant even use without items" kinda thing.

Over all however i am pretty happy with WHAT they are doing, im just curious what will happen after it finally comes.

Chances are bugs will be needing fixed for about a month or so, but thats why it is in pre season xD
