How do players feel about the Autofill?

atm im sitting pretty in plat, plat IV now after my huge lose streak. i started to get some wins again but for some reason the match making is forcing me to autofill, which basically means i end up as support. when i play support i always end up with the most turd team mates you could find. the way it works is you autofill for one game, and then it gives you priority for your roles the next. so basically im winning one and then losing one, and this has been happening for the last couple of days and im fucking stuck and cant move.

Id rather wait in queue an extra forever than be auto filled. Decreases matchmaking times while also decreasing your chance of winning. Not worth.

I'd rather have the old system it's funny seeing people lose their minds in champion select jk

I can play any role but I have preferred roles

Riot is currently working so that u don't get auto fill into a roles you harshly dislike

I love what they're doing right now. First design a system that let's ppl pick 2 roles they want to play. Realize that few ppl want to play support and as such queue times have increased. Try to fix that by adding an auto-fill. Realize ppl are bad at some of the roles they don't pick. Implement an option to fully exclude a role. Inb4 back to no supports and increased queue times.

alright guys i've just hit plat 5. my road from plat 2 to bronze is progressing well. just said in champ select how i went from plat 2 to 5 and they said "plat?" gg im playing with gold players now, fml

Autofill sucks. I find that it leads to lower quality matches and stomps (since some players don't actually know how to play their role) and I would much prefer waiting the extra 3+ minutes for a decent game.

If need be, I would recommend dodging matches when you are placed into a role you don't know. While you will lose a little LP, you will maintain your MMR (which is the important part).

That said, I'm planning to practice support after being autofilled into it a few times. I like playing it occasionally and I've been looking for a secondary role (at the moment, choosing between mid and support).
