This new Breed of troll is ultimately one that tries to get you banned.

This is a troll, which from champion select will try to tilt you and carry it on into, through, and until the game finishes. He attempts to make you tilt so that you flame, give up etc, and then reports you after the game.

I just had a Kayle support who, basically stirred up team from champion select, i wasn't able to see what was going on as i was afk, chat wise , but before i went into game i saw "kayle pls, don't"

oh boy

once we entered game the Kayle said to me ( i was adc ) take a support item so that you can earn some gold, he then bought a dorans ring and went into lane, once in lane he took all of my cs, and spammed pings on me and spammed chat with "stop cs'ing" whenever i tried to farm.

Very, very tilting.

i was constantly competing for cs, i was already a little tilted prior due to a full day of trolls, but this kayle broke me,

i ended up flaming hard, i completely lost it, it was only half way thru the game when i realised i was playing into his hands, i stopped flaming, and just tried my best given the circumstances.

But this guy was relentless with his pings and his "stop cs'ing"

he kept saying "i have more items than jinx XD" etc etc,

he kept saying jinx cs? pls no trol, or his absolute favourite "pls focus"

all game

i went into the 30 minute mark with an Infinity edge and half a runaans. ye, it was brutal.

he spent the whole game afk farming and ended the game with 380 or so cs whilst i only had barely over 200

we somehow, somehow won 4v5

after the game i asked him what his problem was and he said

"i enjoy making people angry so that they flame and get banned, i've already got 2 people banned so far"

................

the most annoying thing about it was that, how do you report this guy? he did enough to tilt and cause a nuisance and just anger and enrage his entire team, but through his wordings and his subtle actions, he just seems innocent. its like someone getting murdered and then finding out it was legal.

its these subtle things and his wordings that i feel allow him to get away with it

you can't report someone for saying "pls focus" "no trol pls" or spamming pings or stealing cs when your a support

there isnt even a category for it!!

rather than being a blatant troll he is very subtle, like some dark villain that is pulling the strings so that he doesn't get caught.

playing with this guy, and for my team had to be one of the most infuriating things ever, even my team were going mental.

i wish i could post his name up but there are rules about exposing people or using their summoner names.

this is nothing new, people have been doing this ever since they replaced the tribunal with an automated system

New breed? This is the original breed, all trolling stems from this type, have you never heard of trolls before LoL?

Post game chat, as of a while ago, is saved by Riot along with everything else. You got him to admit being a ban baiter in chat, so you should go to support, and submit a ticket to report him manually. Link to the game and describe everything of relevance - pretty much like you did here. You might have to persist past the first canned response to get a human to review your report.

You might still, however, take a chat ban or other punishment: You are responsible for your own actions in game. :-(

sadly trolls arent stupid. as the system changes the way they troll changes too. the verbal abuse bans are just another weapon in the hands of a skilled troll.

Ok so just my 2c,

Take as many screenshots as you can, (F12) and submit a support ticket under the general questions.

Ask specifically for it to be forwarded to Player behaviour, and check back on the ticket to see they haven't closed it with a canned response.

After all this, I have a roughly 1/3 hit rate on getting something done about really nasty and obvious trolls.

Reporting using the client? That's like 1/1000 chances the system might do something. It doesn't detect trolling at all and is really bad at just catching obvious inting. There's plenty of match history's with trolls ruining 100's of games with no action taken, so don't listen to anyone who tells you different.

Lastly, keep flooding the boards asking riot to do something. Don't you know there was a red in the PB board only 5 months ago!

Be sure to describe what they did in the report box, as the automated may not catch it. but a manual review will.
