Make Gnar Great Again

So, I love Gnar. I remember when I saw the preview for him when I first started league and I remember how much I loved the way he looked, and the way his kit functioned with the mini and mega forms. I saved up the 6300 IP (Which he was my first 6300 champ) and after some practice started dominating the top lane. However, ever sense the Preseason changes to everything he just doesn't feel strong. He went from a pro play mainstay with great reliability on his Ult and not only lockdown on the mega-form but also in mini form his dmg was great, to now he looses to the juggernauts and the other people that he was supposed to crush with the design in his kit. Here is my solution. His early game is what makes him weak. If he does not do well in lane, his mid game is pretty much useless, so buff the early game. Lower the cool down on missing his boomerang by around 5 seconds. A 20 second cool down on his miss pretty absurd and I have always felt like was too much. Next I feel like the early game percent health dmg on his W is just not good at lvl 1 and really limits his dmg output early. Even just a slight buff on this will make the early game on him much more bearable and easier to fight with early. Lastly the passive on his ult just doesn't feel like enough at lvl 1. You really don't notice the extra CDR on his abilities until at least the 2nd lvl on ult which if we look at other passives on ults like with Tahm Kench, you notice the extra dmg Immediately as soon as you hit lvl 6. Again even just a slight buff on his ult passive early I feel like will help out so much. Let me know your thoughts on this!!

He's a top tier top laner right now

That and he suffers from the unbalance able syndrome.

He's either meh or OP. His kit is just too good so it's better to keep him under tuned.

Same with Shyvana, ILLAOI, nocturne, irelia and many more.

No he is not. He is currently sitting at a 46% Win Rate. The top tier Top laners would be people like Ekko, Poppy, Swain, Maokai, Darius. Not Gnar

If we're going by winrate, the top five mid laners in the game are Karthus, Heimer, Malz, Galio, and Xerath.

honestly, just give him a tiny bit more range on his autos. The majority of his early game weakness is that most champs have some sort of gap close/ranged ability and so trying to proc his W with q + 2 autos is just asking to be caught and be forced to lose a trade.

A prime example: Darius

His pull has a longer range than Mini Gnar's attack range, therefor in many cases trying to poke or proc W will result in him pulling and proc'ing Grasp + Q on you forcing you to lose a trade. With some skill/being careful you can still trade but it's simple things like this that make Gnar's life rough.

While we're at it let's increase Vayne and Graves auto range.

My point is that for a kit that's supposed to be about kiting and harass, it seems a bit stupid that he gets countered by champions for which that's supposed to be their weakness.

I'm only talking about a 50ish increase, one where if you mess up on positioning you will still get punished but you wont get countered by things that shouldn't affect you in the first place

While we're at it let's increase Vayne and Graves auto range.

Please no. Vayne is oppressive enough as it is, and Graves is SUPPOSED to be a short ranged bursty ADC.
