Recruit Symbol for Ranked?

iBubster··1 votes·1,456 views

I just finished my placement matches and got placed into Silver 5. When I went to my profile and checked under ranked, a recruit symbol was next to my name. What does the symbol mean and what does it do? I've heard it gives you a grace period where you can't lose LP but I don't know how long it lasts. Thanks!

It means you've played less than 1000 games in your league (your league is the tier you're in, silver for you). It doesn't actually mean anything.
