Hey guys! I am a Silver 5 support main and my friend always says I should be in Bronze 5. He says that "You get carried every game man, you don't need to do anything as support." I don't think this is true, but I can't find any reason why he is wrong? Do support get carried every game? Do supports all deserve Bronze 5? Please comment anything down below. Thanks :D.

Most of the time a support player "getting carried" is just them doing their job for the team, which is warding and protecting teammates. Sure they might be not doing much damage, but they are still contributing to the team. Same with tanks and splitpushers. A splitpusher might have a low kda and low damage to champions, but they put lots of pressure on the map. This is an objective based game, not call of duty.

Badmojojuju1 votesSupports aren't carried. I main supp and there have been many games I've turned the tide of a teamfight. Rakan for example dashing in, knocking up enemy team followed by a charm, couple shields, heal and exhaust can turn an enemy teams "would be" ACE into your team winning. The problem is none of that shows up on the scores outside of being assists.

The other big issue is auto-fill non-support mains doing their job poorly because they don't want to be supp.
