Realistically is it possible to climb effectively up by getting very good at whichever role is your favourite, regardless of the meta, FoTM, etc?
In Season 4 I climbed from B5 to S1 with Twitch, I like adc and I prefer to play it, but I'm considering putting my effort into getting good at jg or top to get out of low mmr.

Dreadlocks2 votesClimbing out of bronze and silver is all about map pressure. Bronze/Silver players are going to make many mistakes in your games (positioning and initiating being the 2 biggest ive noticed) So if you can take advantage of those things climbing will be easier for you.
I'm sure you can climb out of bronze/silver with any role, as long as you can apply a lot of map pressure. I personally find it easier with Mid assassins because not only can i roam and dominate 2 lanes at once, but assassins are good at punishing players for being out of position. And like i said, bronze and silvers are out of position a lot.

You can pretty much get a triple kill very easily. Adc and assassin can't qss your infinite snare and squishes explode as soon as u touch them
Sometimes you might wanna learn new champions because they aren't strong enough to fit in the current meta is what I'm trying to say
Hint: never blame your team if you are playing solo que you are trying to Get better as an individual mechincally If I get ganked and killed I blame myself for being too aggro not because gg my jungler never helps me. Learn how to play when behind. Usually cs your way to victory.

Yup map awareness is good I usually let them engage on us and I sneak in flash on their carries and nuke their whole team just remember to get four stacks off before going in rambo

Even in support you can carry with stuff like morgana, ap blitz, sona, w/e.
Miku Lv991 votesAbsolutely. As long as you're good with the champion you're using, any champion can get you from B5 to at least platinum, probably higher. But really if you want to get really high, you really should learn at least 2 roles really well. Especially with the new system where you're likely going to end up playing the same 2 roles all the time.
