Why is tris getting a bunch of play in LCS?
a few weeks ago there was a whole circle jerk of "tris sukx to bad" whiners, "riot cant rework without nerfing" but shes getting as bunch of lcs play, Why?

SH Azykan4 voteslevel 1 lane swaps, Trist is one of the best tower pushers in the entire game. Also allows her to get some levels so she can start getting a range advantage.
Also as a counter to Kalista. Since Trist front loads a lot of her damage, with a point and click E, she can easily out trade a Kalista who has to apply more attacks to get off a good rend.

Overall, she's picked up as a counter to Kalista's mobility. Kalista is reliant on dodging skill shots, but Trist's range and E are able to counter kalista hard, so she's considered a strong counter to Kalista.

Trist-take towers(She has good tower killing) Kali- She uses her ult, throw someone in the Middle of the fight, and they can chain their cc. (also shes pretty safe with the ability to kite endlessly, she also can secure baron/dragon nicely)
