About Azir

Am I the only one that thinks that Azir isn't THAT bad right now?

I mean, yes, his winrate is amongst the lowest right now, but I feel that that's due to the short games.

If games would last longer he would have an ok'ish winrate I think. He's one of the strongest fullbuild champions in the game after all.

So to balance him he either needs slight buffs to compensate for the shorter games or Riot would have to try and get the average gametime a +10 minute increase.

(This thread is just an opinion grab bag, I'm working on a big post regarding possible Azir buffs/Reworks)

Hi, I completely agree with you. I think Azir is still rewarding to play and isn't in dire need of a rework.

I don't want you to feel like I am hijacking your forum but I have already created a post regarding this, there's bunch of great ideas on my EUW post and I have recently copied that post and added it to the NA boards. I think you'll appreciate a lot of the ideas on there already and can vote and throw out any ideas you have for Azir already.

His win rate is low because his abandon rate is high. People who learn his kit thoroughly and understand his strengths can more effectively reach his late game, and be incredibly strong, as you mentioned.

The truth is, that is one of the metrics that Riot looks at to determine if a champion needs a rework. The fact that people will try him out for a few games then stop playing him does not say good things for his kit.

I'm not saying that I am looking forward to a rework, but I am very curious to see what it would be that they will attempt to do to resolve this for him.
