How is the Rift Herald going to help with the TP problem?

From what I'm reading, it seems as if the the Rift Herald(RH) will be extremely hard to kill solo. So if the enemy happens to TP bot, prior to 20 mins you'll also need your jungler nearby in order to kill it in enough time to make use of it. However, in that time, the top laner who went bot, may have just gotten or assisted in 2 or more kills with a tower or 2.

It looks as if tankier top champs would be at a disadvantage with this.
