Someone please tell me how to win when your team feeds

I’ve lost about 14 of my last 20 games purely because of my team feeding. I was silver 1 97 LP and now I’m silver 3 entirely because of feeding teammates. I’ve tried playing my best solo carries and the enemy team is too fed, I try playing support and my adc ints, I try being positive and everyone becomes a toxic rager. So please, tell me what I can possibly do to win when I have no agency over the outcome of the game. Climbing has to be possible because people do it, but I can’t figure out how.

I said this same thing to my buddy that is Diamond 1 - master X And he told me that if every game I am going 15/1/X but still losing more than I am winning then I am doing something wrong. Basically you can win lane hard. But you wont win the game unless you can help your team win their lanes. Meaning, if you get a lead instead of just winning your lane more you should help your team get some kills/assists so they can win lane. Instead of just being strong for a bit and getting mad because they are doing poorly, go help em out. Or swap lanes so they fight the guy you have been stomping. Etc.

The main thing is a mindset change. Act like no matter what, if you lost it was your fault. In game if someone is feeding you wont think, wow we are losing because of them. You will think, oh no they are dying I need to fix that asap!

get fed harder and out play the enemy fed players, winning lane means nothing if you dont use that lead .

also dont think to much of your loses, focus on your self and keep trying to improve, bad games will happen you however just need a good winrate to rise.

p.s checking your win rate, urgot/karthus and vi are above 60% winrate overall which is great for climbing imo.

Do you dodge games?

My own mentality is something people disagree with, but I tend to just go "time to ask them to do X and explain briefly," and if they don't I just kinda conclude that I have to play well enough to make up for them. Most people disagree with me, I think, so whether or not I'm right is up for debate. Gl anyways, though!

Focus on your individual skill and you will improve

Stop trying to carry. Instead, treat every game as gamble and focus first and foremost on never being the reason your team loses. That means no going 0-5 in lane, like ever, even if that means you afk under your own tower. You will win a surprising amount of games this way.

Got to Gold for the first time ever using exclusively that method. I'm never aiming to carry any of those games, I'm only aiming to not be the motherfucker that loses the game for my 9-0 bot lane by going 0-5 in lane like some kind of half wit garbage ass player.

Well, probably not what you're looking to hear, but you really can't do much in some games-you're simply going to lose no matter how good you play.

With that said, I do believe the vast majority of your games, you can find SOMETHING to improve on. You think to yourself you played perfect, that it was 100% your teams fault, but the majority of the time, you slipped up somewhere-which ended up making things snowball even harder. So my advice is this: Watch replays on these games and truly judge yourself. You cannot do anything to make your team play better (other than ping/make suggestions), but you CAN improve yourself each game. With a little bit of improvement from multiple games like this, it'll eventually churn out wins that would have been lost if you hadn't watched your replays. Just one small decision can have huge impacts.

Silver is ELO hell. You have to accept the fact that solo queue is nothing but dice-rolling where you dictate a small percentage of the outcome in only a small percentage of the games.

you win by not letting them get to you. if they feed just ignore them and keep playing. do not engage in a flame war with them. you will lose.

by carrying. get picks, splitpush, vision control. macro has a big impact. you cant 5v5 against a fed enemy team so u gang up on them 1 by 1. although to hard carry, you have to be better than everyone else in the game which isn't realistic assuming you're playing at your own elo. u cant win a game that you're going to lose thats why nobody has a 100% wr over all their games

Reviving necro- threads which already had their time to shine is against Universal Rules and as such I will be locking this thread to make sure it lands at the bottom of the howling abyss. I would strongly encourage looking at how old a thread is before commenting on it.

Depending on what role you play you could find a duo partner if you really can't climb. Or just start playing solo-carry champions, or just go with the meta. Although I'm not really sure there even is a meta anymore.

Not that it's anything anyone likes to hear but no matter the game there's always ways to improve and get something out if it. The fact is sometimes the enemy is better or has a better team comp or sometimes you just get someone on your team that blows.

But it's important to remember that there are things you can improve on, mechanical, build, counter build, runes, vision, objective control, teamwork, roaming, cs..... There's so many small things that someone can get better at and as they do their potential to carry increases more than they realize

you are in low elo the only advice you need is- "get good".

Farm With Jayce4/3/2019, 3:12:46 AM1 votes

Just go for objectives. Literally kills and cs are useless, obj is 10x better than anything. If you get fb tower, you have a 70% chance of winning the game. First baron you have an 80% chance of winning. First inhib is 90% chance of winning. Remember this every time you go into ranked. It may sound hard but this is the real reason to winning.

Problems with going for kills:

  1. You're going to be focused by enemy team because you're constantly being aggro.
  2. You're going to miss a lot of cs because you're too focused on kills than cs.
  3. Your chances of dying skyrocket.
  4. If you're fed, then you're worth bounty gold. Bounty gold is an easy way for enemy team to make a comeback.

If you get drakes and rift every game, i can almost guarantee you will be diamond easily.

Just play a burst mage mid like LB, if you are good enough you will climb without caring about your team. No joke it is by far the easiest position to climb with in low elo, because if you are good, you can do things like kill your enemy laner and then go help your jungler, or better yet your side lanes. Mobile burst mage in mid lane, if you are good enough your win rate should be about 80%.
