Where did the clear chat history button go?

Holy shit Riot why did you get rid of the clear chat button? When these stupid kids are spamming and yelling at eachother I need to clear the chat. But I still want to see the meaningful stuff they say, like " ok guys, I'm splitting bot, Gangplank TP in with me when the fight starts " or something. FFS bring back the clear chat button, it never did anyone harm.

Riot please take your players' views in consideration before you do major changes on how the game is played/looked at.

It was under the chat box, along with the " Send team" button, and " Send to all". This allowed you to type a message and click that button, so you wouldn't have to type /all in front of your message. I don't really care about that though, I just want to get rid of the white text in capitals saying " OMFG GG FUCKIN NOOB TEAM FUCKIN BAD ENGAGE GG OMG JRTNH4 ". I know some people are like " just mute them then you retard", but what if they're deciding on a team decision like whether to push mid or baron. You wouldn't be able to see that. Much better to just let the button allowing to clear your chat stay.

Huh, 4 years and never once heard of it. I have to say though, that would have been very useful.

That's why I'm mad. It's just personal preference, I don't like raging chat on my screen. Riot needs to let the PLAYERS choose how they want to see/feel the game, instead of deciding for us.

There was also a background darkness option on the chat box. You could make the square black so the text stood out and was easier to read, or make the box clear so you could see the ground. They got rid of that as well, now its on permanent clear mode :/ Fuckin hate Riot, never take player views into consideration

Didn't know about this either, but never really found seeing text that hard so I can't quite be bothered but I can see how this would bother people.
