So the Boards Really hates Morde

Like a lot. we have a Diamond Yorick main wanting to have a Match up Yorick Wins nerfed, just for having the ability to heal during a fight. After being told to play around the CD he proceeds to change his comments around and People are eating it up. Ignoring logical arguments in exchange for a hate mob mentality.

From intent pick all the way through the games some times. it's not every game (Since I don't lose everygame) but when it even looks bad on a score board The flamers start " Trash Morde OTP learn to play your champ" That's a quote 3 games ago 5 minutes in after dying to a 3 man tower dive scoreboard 1/1.

I'd say 2/3rds of my games I get some form of negative comment just for picking my champ)

What Did Morde ever do to you?

Has he ever Hard cc'd you? Has he ever Chased you down repeatedly chunking your health in rapid succession?

Why does Everyone HATE my champion so much. He's Barely played and still gets as much hate as some of these Meta OP champs.

TBH the issue with Yorick Mains is no different than mages and ADCs crying about Zed and Yasuo. Accept you have a counter and move on.

As for why the boards hates Mordekaiser, it’s the same thing as with Darius - the average player has no idea how to handle playing against him, so they hate him. The difference is that Morde has even fewer players than Darius, and thus fewer supporters on the Boards.

I’m of the opinion that all hatred stems from ignorance, in some form or another.

You could say the exception is hatred of ignorance, but I prefer the term “patronization”.

On that note, I was disappointed when I didn’t see your typical scathing comment on yesterday’s Ahris post. I scrolled through the whole mess looking for gold, but there was none to be found :(

That said I just don't see people argue from logical perspectives of fair Counterplay.
Everyone ( especially marksmen my persona opinion from what I have observed) wants there champs to be broken OP and that's balanced for them.

Marksmen need another power down along with some assassins and bruises so we can get back to a Healthy diverse state IMO

People don't like Mordekaiser because we know he's a problem. He's riddled with bugs, to the point where Nunu Bot makes a joke about it. He's also hideous, and his model is horribly outdated. So knowing that we know he's got issues and is riddled with bugs, and a model that's older than the gods themselves, it's pointless to make posts bringing it to our attention that he's old, riddled with bugs, and has a bad model. It's redundant and obvious.

That's a pretty good explanation of why the Boards don't like Mordekaiser threads. People don't like it because Captain Obvious roaring in and crying that Mordekaiser has bugs is a tired, trite thing we've seen for years.

It's a part of the conversation, because the majority of the Mordekaiser threads talk about his bugs and it contributes to why people are sick of seeing Mordekaiser threads on the boards. You're asking why people don't like Mordekaiser on the Boards. I have explained why.

Yeah, people do have preconceived notions about him - that notion is that he's obsolete, unfixable, and in dire need of a VGU. Yet here people are, still trying to make fetch happen, and somehow validate his existence as an outdated champion. He's like Old Urgot at this point - no one cares about him because he's too ancient, too broken, and too obsolete to even be relevant in the game. The best thing for him at this point is to await his VGU. You can still play him to your heart's content, but for the love of Pete, he's irrelevant to the rest of us until Riot gives him the exhaustive love he needs.

Lmao, the other thread complaining about a Morde w BUG is the first one I've seen complaining about him in months.

And yet you feel like a victim atacked by the Boards rolf, to be fair for me it was more funny when the Boards where day and night filled with threads crying about adcs so idk why you dislike just a bit of Morde hate.

I blame Kai'Sa, she gets too much hate that she over shadows the adc hate that even if still exists it's not showed that much now compared to the start of the season.

So please, can you guys do more threads crying about other adcs and not only Kai'Sa? It's getting boring.

Oh, I though that you were talking about the Boards hating Morde and not your soloQ players hating Morde.

For that...it has to suck, when I try to play Kalista usually my supp trolls me because he thinks I'm trolling for playing her.

And Kalista is still way more popular and known overall than Morde.

It's actually not a bug. I gave examples and advice and have been met with vitriol and misrepresentation by that poster and everyone agrees with him.
