Too difficult to get in a match in Master/Challenger
Just spent over 40 min trying to get in a game, without succeeding. This is what happened:
- 5-15 min (10 is the average) in queue
- get in lobby
- someone dodges
- repeat
The dodges always occurred after the ban phase, often when a player switches between champs and fails to lock in during the last second. This means that a large portion of the dodges are not caused by technical issues, but player's laziness or thoughtlessness. I could accept these dodges, if there was no need to cancel and restart the queue. In high elo people continue to face same opponents and know a lot of people are OTPs, so if you stay in the same queue your champs will get banned in the next lobby. So, when I cancel the match search, I have to wait another 5-15 minutes before entering a new lobby.
Long queue times combined with usual dodges tires me and lowers vitality forehand before getting ingame... And this same happens every day since you also need to play a lot more in Master+ to prevent decays. It's not okay to spend so much time overall in order to just find games.
I suggest Riot to make dodge penalties harsher in Master+ tiers. Maybe an instant 15 min suspension and after that a restriction for rest of the day. Anything that would minimize dodge amounts or make it faster to get ingame, please. A lesser thing that I hate is the "estimated queue wait time" that always says it's 3 minutes when in reality it actually never is that short.
Would also like to know why this banked system cannot hold more than 10 games. In season 6 there still was that old system where Master+ players could accomplish 1 game per 10 days to avoid inactivity. Now you have to play 10x more. If you increased the bank amount to 15-28, the games needed per season would still be waaaaay more than with that older system. It's ridiculous that you are not even allowed to take a pause for two weeks because you'll get -100 LP every day you are inactive.
