There is no rule stating that playing duo top/mid violates the game code. If Riot wants players to play jungle, they should not have gimped the role. It is way more efficient to have a duo lane than a jungler at this point. You would only need one person to carry smite and go to JG from time to time or a chogath to secure objectives.

People were against funnel strat a while back before it became a thing. Just because a certain playstyle is not commonly accepted and the team doesn't like it doesn't mean it's bad. Proxy Singed was also a thing too. A team being closed minded and having their "game experienced" ruined doesn't a viable strategy bad.

You shut down 1 lane, ok, ok, acceptable, assuming it's not something like Kennen or Jayce top against you, in which case, I'll report both of you for trolling.
Your team doesn't have a jungler, the enemy does, so even if shut down 1 lane uncontested, the enemy team can shut down 2 lanes uncontested, or can even contest you based on their top laner and your picks.
Bottom line is: duo top/mid is much more risky for far less reward than to play jungle, so it's not a viable strategy.
Funnel wasn't accepted, but that didn't meant it's not a consistent, low risk high reward thing. Your strategy is a high risk low reward that's also inconsistent because the enemy picks matter so much more than your own, and any strategy that requires the opponent to be bad, is a stupid strategy in 90% of cases because you have so little control over it.

Kathedral1 votesI still do the roaming jg support thing. People get so mad, even had a bot lane start inting because of it. I wasn't doing bad though, but when people's butts start hurting and the tears start flowing, you can't stop the tantrum no matter how hard you carry.

Good for you, I do the same thing. I adapt to changes as well. when something gets buffed, changed or added I will change play style, and champions I play as well in order to make the match more enjoyable. Never let things force you into something you are not enjoying.
