I have now climbed from B2 to S2

So yay. But seeing as others may be having problems I thought I'd give a few tips

  1. I know everyone says it but its true-warding. There can never be too much vision. Even if its wasted its missed its better than nothing at all.

  2. Play easy champs. No one (unless they're originally plat+) climbs using complex champs like azir or such. If you wanna climb, use someone who you think is braindead and incredibly easy to pull off. Personally, I use annie supp. It has cc, damage, and my adc can do the rest. I climbed outta bronze originally with yi. Unfortunately in silver, people know how to use cc. So I switched to annie. You got other braindead champs? Great. Use them and help out your team. Use easy but powerful champs. A fed annie is terrifying. A fed yi melts everything. A fed maokai?.....really tanky. Can still be taken out.

  3. Time: Play when all those kids that are 15 or under are in school. I play between 8am and 3pm. Thats when all the kids who THINK they are good are in school. Plus since RNG DOES affect it, your chances of getting competent teammates is greatly increased.

And then the usual game mechanics: map awareness, teamfights, vision, csing, etc. Get all this down, and you're sure to climb.

Plus, from what I've experienced, thanks to dynamic queue, the ranks aren't that different at all. The only thing that's changed is warding and no more bronze tower dives. It's actually surprising how much boosting DQ has done lol.

the time youre playing has acutually a lot of influence on every division youre playing in as far as ive seen, even at higher ratings.

if you find the time to play at night, youll run into much less premades and games are mostly made up of solo players. you also have generally a lot less raging in games going on for some reason.

the que times can be long at night if youre unlucky, but it seems worth it, as youre almost playing solo que.

Theres a lot of things that low elo players don't do. A lot of the time warding isn't important to see the enemy. But it shows where they aren't and still gives you information even though you don't see any players on the mini map

I disagree with picking easy champions. I think you should play whoever you want to play. I play a lot of Lee Sin, Azir, high mechanical champs.
