Every game I watch or play I see him doing crazy things and just obliterating teams. Not saying he is broken or anything just commenting on how such a minor buff had made such a big impact, any thoughts from people?
I have not seen him doing anything out of the ordinary. Last patch i was considered a troll for picking him, and now I still feel weak till the 30 min mark.
he still takes skill to play as well as needs several items to become relevant what truly makes him strong is the fact his w procs everything and now it has less cd and a little higher ratio it works great. in the past few games i have played with him i have done pretty good 1 of those games i started off like 0 and 6 then ended up carrying my team becuase i sat back and selected my targets and went in.

Riot has previously stated that a champion would be nerfed in a patch but forgot to apply the changes. The champion's win rate and pick rate went down even though they were unchanged since the previous patch (where they were considered strong).
Player perception of a champion's strength can actually impact their performance.
How easy is it to play a champion you've had little experience to fight against? I can't imagine Kassadin was common before his buff (hence the buff maybe) so he wasn't seen often. Ergo, people were not used to dealing with him because he just got out of retirement.
It's the same logic that applies to a new rework or new champion. We don't know how to deal with them because we have little experience with them. On top of anything that might scale too high or too low.
Kass still needs a rework. He always has, he most likely will for a long time.
