what's actually the counter play. And no, don't only give specific champs that just so happen to have an easier time with her. Like what. Give what is actually a counter play against zyra. It doesn't matter what comp the team has as soon as she steps into the lane you respect her or you die. One root = 3/4's of your health gone, and attempting to take out the plants themselves will just make you lose 1/4th of your health. The roots she has have such good range and hitboxes that you could just probably just randomly throw it and it'd still hit. Accompanied with all of this her ult does big damage and has a knockup so if you get hit by that then good luck.

What is the counterplay to her? Because right now after all the Zyra games I've had to deal with I've just been perma banning her to not deal with her bullshit.

Both zyra and brand are broken and need to leave bot lane.

i have less issues with zyra , more with brand.

zyra is far from broken, she has a lot of poke and zone control but if she misses her root its very easy to all in her, she is very slow and squishy easy to kill.

Zyra is one of the most immobile champions of league of legends.

Compared to other champions that can dash, teleport, flash and do all kinds of crazy stuff she just walks and has a delayed AoE CC as an ult. Zyra was forgotten for years and now people suddenly remembered her and cry rivers.

Not to mention she's really weak versus assasins that can just walk all over her if you dont have a zhonya

And no. E does not = 3/4 of your HP. Zyra has some of the weakest up front damage of any mage in her kit, at only 50/70% AP scaling. Her Base damage is tier 3. The difference is in range, and the time you waste dealing with plants a lot of the time, and that her kit easily enables Electrocute or Dark Harvest or Comet hits.

Like all major minion masters in the game, she suffers from weaknesses to stealth.

Double damage application skills also are antithesis since they instantly kill her plants.

Divers like Kha Zix or Riven or Kai Sa generally destroy Zyra because her skills all have a small delay, and theirs do not.

Blitz may not always win lane, but he WILL win the game. His damage output, and near death Barrier time horribly with Zyra trying to kill him. She's expended her entire kit just trying to get him to 20% HP, only for his barrier to pop up and give him an effective 1400 more HP to burn through.

Meanwhile, his double damage E +Q + R ensure that as long as he has a Sheen item, he will kill her before she kills him.

Hey bro , if she misses her E . That's your window she's imobile and thats her most reliable cc . But a smart zyra will hold her E until its a guaranteed land. If you want to beat her you need to play around her E cooldown .
