What counters pantheon because seriously I'm at a loss here.

People say Pantheon falls off hard late game but I've never seen that. All of my games I've seen him dominate early, has a great presence mid, and then although not as good as the first two, does stay relevant late.

Every time I'm against him if I simply attempt to get CS he'll body me, if I loom behind he'll youmuus to catch up and get me, or if I stay under tower he'll poke me under tower until he dives and blocks 3 tower shots with his stacks. I genuinely wanna learn how to beat this champ since banning him seems like a pussy way out of things and there's clearly a reason why he isn't so high in meta right now but to me he's one of the most dreadful champs to play against. What items/counterplay can beat Panth?

I personally do well against him with Vlad. Pantheon has hard core mana issues early on, so by sustaining and trading even with Q and starting with cloth 5 pots, eventually he runs out of mana and thus the ability to poke and trade.

Ring the dinner bell for your jungler like "Hey this squishy champion is overextending in a very long lane and he's completely immobile :^D"

And then panth will die and miss a load of cs (because he has no tp) and fall behind. He's never picked because you can just concede the first wave and farm under turret and then his ignite is useless and you make up for the cs deficit with TP.

If you set up ganks well for your jungler, like bait panth's w on to you, then successful ganks will put him very far behind and your jungler ahead.

That said there are some toplaners that can trade into his Q, or sustain through it and don't have to concede waves and sit under tower, but that's the optimal strategy for most tp toplaners I'm pretty sure. He's a lot like Jayce in that respect.

Too bad most jungle would rather farm those out of the way krugs than pay Pantheon a visit to tear him wide open as punishment for his stupidity. It's the entire reason most players pick Pantheon. Because they know that 4/5 jungle don't care about top lane. Especially if Pantheon brings ignite along just for some early first blood cheese, then it's "Can't gank, panth fed, gotta help others. Just be safe. Panth falls off late."

Just the nature of the game. Some jungles will gank for you, others will prioritize other lanes or farm

You can ban panth or become the jungle yourself and evade the trappings of bad top lane matchups. Seeing things from the other guys point of view will enhance your decision making down the road

40% of the time I don't jungle, I get someone filled jungle who admits they don't jungle often or at all. The other 60% remains a coin flip on doing the job good or bad.

So, I just put jungle down as my main role. The role I was literally forced into playing more than any other role (more than support) in past seasons in which there was no role selection and everyone hated to jungle.

Rumble is great into him if you can play him well since his passive is useless into you and you can trade through the wave while shielding his poke

anyone who relies on skills to do damage and outrange him can beat him or be so tanky aka deadmans rush he cant hurt as much he falls off of you after that later due to natural tank build or your "ultimate" advantage or teamfights since he can only focus one target.
