@Riot: Context on Malphite Nerfs?

Like, okay he is getting nerfed. Could we please get a post explaining the context behind these changes? Can't seem to find it.

Out of all the tanks in the bloody game, fucking Malphite gets nerfed.

Not Maokai , not Gragas , not JarvanIV (jungle Cinderhulk version, not the toplane version).

Fucking Malphite . I know he has 100% winrate in LCK, but come on.

Quality Riot balancing [zombie-brand-mindblown].

He isn't getting nerfed... the buffs on Pbe were probably too strong so they clipped them a bit.

The changes on there before today were nerfs, and now he's getting more nerfs.

Pretty sure they added actual scalings to two of his abilities and integrated his passive to buff his W. If you can, you should actually try out the changes. RN we have to buy 40% cdr on Malphite or he sucks. These changes open up both his buildpaths and his leveling options earlier in lane.

Ah, I see. Well if I was to guess I'd say they're trying to add more skill expression to Malphite.

He'll have non-static cds now so there will be a real choice on what to level. W changes look pretty sweet imo.
