Nasus in S6

DISCLAIMER - I am fairly new to the boards, please don't demolish this post. This post has been re-written.

What are your thoughts on how Nasus is doing in Pre- Season 6? Is he fair/healthy compared to other champions? Has he changed much since Season 5? Do you guys think he could use a touchup or buff? Do you think Riot will touch him in Season 6? Post your thoughts about him here!

EDIT: Didn't expect a post about how people's thoughts on Nasus in S6 would recieve massive downvoting.

Points from this thread:

Does he need a buff?
Is his damage lackluster?
Would an AP Bonus fix his problems?
Losing leverage as of the most recent patches.

As according to champion.gg:

His current 52.21% win rate is above the curve, so a flat buff would be tremendously misplaced
His damage is in fact just below average
Possibly? It would help his damage potential, but it's the flat buff that we want to avoid due to point 1.

I suspect "Damage Dealt" as recorded in Champion.gg is actually "Damage Dealt to Champions", and this is supported by how Nasus is tremendously lacking in kills and assists. Perhaps he should get a bit of a buff that Cho'Gath got? Something to much more actively promote him using his power on enemy champions rather than just farm all day, and it's a lot easier to create a buffer of power with it as it relies on player decision making, and won't skew his win rate as bad as a flat stat boost.

Thanks for responding! I greatly appreciate your good post! I do agree that a buff relative to his long farming wouldn't be ideal/fun to have. I can't exactly think of a way to buff him in a way without a band-aid or making him ridiculous. His kit has all these delicious stats and values, and they seem to be fine the way they are. Buffing his armor reduction from his E, wither effects, or ult/range could be very problematic. Perhaps a passive change could suffice?

Nasus is already a mid-game monster. While he becomes a bit less useful lategame (where he can be kited in proper teamfights, squishy champions have purchased a defensive item, and carries have itemized penetration), he's still quite useful when played properly.

The only proper way to buff Nasus is to take away some of his mid-game (or mid-late game, depending on stuff) power while giving him either more late game or more early game power.

Either way, I think it would be a mistake. I like that he has an actual power curve. As time goes on, fewer champions have power curves, especially ones that end up going both up and down at different times.

Yeah I agree, he could use a buff like a ms buff or early game base minor ad buff. Guinssos isn't good on him and he has enough late game. He just doesn't have as much damage as many people partly because hes a tank, incredibly kitable, slighlty underpowered, and relies on his Q. He doesn't scale insanly with AP also besides his E. Darius, Illaoi, Yi, etc. are broken so ofc they'll have more damage. This post is unexperienced, but don't worry your new and willl learn quickly. Sorry if you got alot of hate, Ik what its like. Thanks for the friendly post. Nice bombing on the unfriendly folks. I guess Guinsoos wouldn't be that great on him. I'm just a bit tired of building Trinity Force/ Frozen heart almost every game. His builds are pretty much the same every game. I would just like to see a minor change to his build. Maybe I play him too much.

That could be exactly what he needs in an update and i know what you mean. His build gets O-so-repetetive. Someone like Zed can build very diversely. GP can go tank, AP, ad, crit, attack speed, etc. He could use a touch up but not a big one. People just rain down and crush other people when they make mistakes or something they can call a mistake to make them look/feel better. Its like saying "Bah! I didn't make this mistake." This post was pefectly fine and you handled the haters just as well. P.S You can NEVER play Nas-dog/Susan/Nasus 2 much :D!

It may seem boring, but it's just the way it is; the core 3 items for Nassus are item 3110 , item 3065 , and item 3078 (or maybe item 3025 ). They just work the best for what he does; he needs the CDR, the enhanced healing and MR, and the sheen proc.

I agree. This guy is only on here to majorly dispute and abuse others. He abused me on one of my posts, then started following me where I went on the boards, like a stalker, and abusing me when I was talking on other people's posts there too. So I'm going through his comments and downvoting his rude ones and reporting him for mean comments. Giving him a taste of what he deserves.

Props to you for standing up against him. I did and he still abused me.
